  1. ....Looks like you had them dialed in again Greg, nicely done.
  2. ....Yippeee, I'll be out off Pefferlaw on Sunday with a large crowd of 47.
  3. ....Actually Glen it's a non related issue. Rainbows are generally land locked strains of trout while a true Steelhead is an anadromous (fresh water born, ocean living) genus of the rainbow. A twist to all this of course is Great Lakes Steelhead, some of which are derived from true steelhead and some from watered down domestic rainbow trout. What I'm trying to say is that rainbows don't grow into steelhead yet some domestic Great Lakes strains display anadromous properties. I'm sure this has helped you none!
  4. .....No not new Wayne at least not yet.
  5. ....Nice !
  6. .....and mine was delivered to the dealer yesterday. Not to worry Wayne, you'll have many years to enjoy her!
  7. ....I'm still using the origional 20 year old blades (thanks to my Dremel) and yes I could bolt the 8"s on if I needed too, nice option.
  8. .....That would be the inline style, one I would stay away from. Once the offset style handle is mastered it outshines the single crank mushroom capped style augers everytime. I've used both and wouldn't own the single crank style if it were new and free, I'd probably give it to you Wayne.
  9. ....No issues here TJ, looks good and worked well.
  10. ....I have a 7" Fin Bore, folding offest handle. Best advice I can give Wayne, absolutely get the offset handle, you won't regret it! Unfortunately I don't think they even make the 7" anymore (?), too bad as it was nice compromise between the ease of a 6" and the larger hole size of the 8".
  11. ....Punk / Post Punk / Industrial / Goth / Grunge / Alt and Indie Joy Division Killing Joke Echo and the Bunnymen Alice in Chains Meat Puppets Trail of Dead Tool Radiohead I think you get the idea....
  12. ....Yes, welcome, I hope we can be a place you are comfortable in.
  13. ....Well I have ice fished that area many times over the millenia and I'm not sure you'll find much in the way of ice unless you're in some of the marinas or slow moving harbours. To date I've not heard anything that would convince me to drive up.
  14. ....Done....
  15. ....There has always been loads of posts deleted, nuked, locked or whatever on all previous boards. For some reason it always becomes an issue when it's "your" posts being nuked, yes that's right it's "what happened to my post?" wah!! It's a message board, not much has changed imo other than you all need to get out fishing.
  16. ....I reiterate, it's a Fishing Forum Terry. If you only want to read fishing posts don't open NF posts and don't start or reply to NF posts. If you do want to be a part of NF posts be prepared that they may get removed, period! That may or may not change.
  17. ....Not sure Tony? I do know he's located at the mouth of the Pefferlaw Brook, west side. FishFarmer has made all the arrangements for the Stelco Fishing Club. Bus ride up and back with huts and bait supplied for $65, can't beat that.
  18. ....I've heard some are on ice or soon will be in the Pefferlaw area Tony. I'm heading up there Sunday with a group of 47 and we have huts booked for the day. Thought it was going to be cancelled but the operator called to say his huts are going out and will be ready for the weekend. Quinte
  19. .....Here's a thought, this is a Fishing Forum" topics outside of that may be pinned, locked or deleted at the discretion of the Mods, no explanation required!. Now where'd I leave the cheese?
  20. .....Hey, now there's a couple of familiar faces. Good to see (and read) that you all had a good time.
  21. .....I'd be up for a day on the ice with you and Shelley if I can swing it Chuck. I'm pleased to hear you are doing well.
  22. .....It seems that no matter what we do or don't do, they'll always be someone ready to whine, can't win either way.
  23. ....Actually I believe it was pulled for a number of reasons. But mostly because it had been discussed among the Admins that we do not want the registered and privately owned OFC name associated with online gambling. The use of the name was never sought nor was permission given to use it. As for swills, well it is an opportunity for board members to get together and meet with others for the purpose of talking fishing over a few beers (or not) which of course makes it entirely fishing related. To that extent posts looking to get board members together for the purpose of talking fishing over a few cold ones will still be found from time to time. While I personally am not interested in online gambling at least one Mod has expressed interest in playing is onside with keeping it off the board and discussed via e-mail or PM's. While I personally didn't pull the thread and don't know who did (or care) I support it's removal as do all the Mods.
  24. ....Ah yes I am familiar with that tune. Have you ever heard the origional version Joe. It was by Trent Reznor (sp?) of Nine Inch Nails fame. I like both versions.
  25. ....Not sure if you mean mine GCD? Anyhow Krawler I bought a new 2006 Lund 1700 Explorer with a 75 / 4 stroke tiller last spring. It's an incredible stable ride. I also went all vinyl.
