....Well it would take most of the night to acknowledge all the well wishes that have been posted so I'll just thank everyone here. I'd also like to extend on behalf of all the crew here at OFC our warmest and heartfelt wishes for a joyous and happy holiday season to all the good folk here that make OFC what it is. ....I remember some 20 plus years back on a warm rainy New Years eve (Burlington) out harvesting a huge number of big fat dewies with a couple of my fishing buddies. We had also stepped out for a smoke and saw plenty of the slimy critters in the garden under the Christmas lights. Well since we were heading out for some early morning steelie fishing (without sleep....lol) it seemed wise to harvest plenty of them. I honestly can't remember how the fishing was though?

....For a young man of only ten your son has a greater appreciation and understanding of what is important in life than those that are troops are fighting against. God bless you all and all those who are standing up for those who will someday (hopefully) enjoy the freedoms we are so fortunate to have here at home.

.....I can't imagine working two jobs Roger unless of course it was in a similar vien as you, I've already got the steelworker end covered. While I've worked with many avid anglers over the years and developed some great friendships I'll bet it can't compare to working in a large outdoors store like BPS.

....Well I can tell you this Alan, as a life long fly fisherman I won't travel up that way again without my fly rod. The days I spent there I definitely wish I had brought one along and your pictures certainly show me I should have. Hopefully we can toss some big Brookie flies together some day. .....Welcome aboard Alan. Being a life long Brookie man I can sure appreciate the beauty of those photos. Also having been up that way fishing last September with Dan it just fuels my desire to get back as soon as possible. Perhaps I'll be fortunate enough to meet you on my next trip.
