Looks good to me. Putting the reel seat where you want is what custom is all about. I do many handle configurations for guys I wouldn't do for myself but they're not wanting a rod that's built for me.

I'd love to make this event but alas it won't be this year. Maybe next year and we'll car pool Dan.

Answer, they come into look at the lure, brush against the line, rod tip twitches.....set the hook, dang....fouled, it does happen, often.

Well I can certainly empathize with your problem Darren as you know. Took me 14 months to see DeVillier who after several months and MRI's sent me to the same surgeon who cancelled on you today, cancelled me for today as well. I was told he was in emergency trauma surgery. He's a good surgeon but waiting sure isn't helping you. I hope they get you rescheduled asap!

Amazing indeed. I'm just keeping busy with rod work today as the kids are at their Mom's till this evening. Actually have 2 new customers who are coming by today at noon to discuss rod builds, I guess they have some Christmas money to spend. Merry Christmas everyone!
