We use to Camp out for Trout opener & we woke up a few times to snow on the ground, young & foolish, I'm thinking I'm too old for that to be fun now SBK

Things are looking up for this batch of Salmon, some seem to be starving to death but the ones that are eating, seem to be growing very nice, Thanx to those that mentioned to test for Ammonia & Titrates, SBK

I ended up taking my Daughter & Grand kids back to Toronto last night & we decided to take the 2 Grand Daughters today, took the Le Baron coupon & it worked so we saved 6 bucks, we were in the 1st group of kids at the Trout pond & Marley caught 5 or 6, Rowan with help caught 3 she'll be 2 next month, saw Big Jim put on his Seminar which is worth the price to get in, I didn't leave the fishing side but my grand daughters had a blast with the Birds of Prey, Dogs Show, Army obstacle course etc etc, Fishing World & Grimsby's weren't there, had a talk with a bunch of guys I don't see alot SBK PS: Grand daughter says we're going back the 1st day of the show next year & Papa likely wouldn't say no, spent money on worse things

Over the years I bought quite a few Shimano FX combo's for as low as $25.00 Med Heavy & they were used for everything from Bass to Pike to Musky & Salmon, I had some buddies that hadn't fished much & they worked fine, if you go Medium I've found that they missed lots of Bass on the tubes because they couldn't get a good enough hook set, Shimano Sedona would make a good reel for you but if you really don't have enough cash, try a Fx combo with a Medium Heavy Rod, There will be some deals on with the Sportsmen Show & BPS Spring Classic right around the corner, your local dealers will likely have a combo on that will work also SBK

Bass Talk at Whitby all day talk about Bass fishing over load, some of the Best Bass Fishermen in the Province including BIG JIM, Coffee, Donut's, Tim Bits, Bagels & Muffins for Starters, Pizza & Wings for lunch, then back to watch my Grand Daughters for the night & 2 of my FLW Fantasy guys are fishing tomorrow Bryan Thrift & Stetson Blaylock, hoping they are 1st & 2nd SBK

I don't watch Italo Or Henry, but You guys must be wimps lol, when I was a kid we use to catch the frogs put them in a pail & take them one at a time & cut their legs off as we needed them & caught the biggest Speckles in out neck of the woods & if they were really big a buddy loved to cook them up & we'd eat them, nothing better then frog legs & rabbit, the good old days, only used frogs for pike or bass a few times, specks were way more important back then SBK

not having your ownership is 100 dollars, and not having your insurance slip is 65 dollars. I'm not sure about you but my ownership & insurance slip is always in the glove box, I think he got off easy, just saying SBK
