2025 Fishing trips - Where are you going?
spinnerbaitking replied to BassMan11's topic in General Discussion
Change it up and don't cast those big lures, I use Blackfly Lures Spinnerbaits 3/4 oz Big Basstards, 1 1/8oz Pike and Musky Takers and in line Haymakers mixed in with 5" Swammers and other swimbaits and do ok with them. Tight Lines Fishing -
2025 Fishing trips - Where are you going?
spinnerbaitking replied to BassMan11's topic in General Discussion
I'll be heading to Dalrymple for 5 to 7 days in June and hopefully a few other times throughout the year, a buddy with a young family bought a cottage there a few years ago and I'm hoping to get them on a bunch of Panfish but will be targeting Bass, Pike, Walleye and maybe a Muskie. There will be lots of Bruce County lakes fishing for bass many and a bunch of Lake Huron as well for some Pike, Bowfin and Bass and maybe other species. Tight Lines 🎣 -

spinnerbaitking replied to spinnerbaitking's topic in General Discussion
Looks fixed now -
Fisheries Management Zone 16 (FMZ 16) Extended season changes possible no more Bass, Musky or Pike fishing (Owen Sound office for Bruce/Grey Counties) https://south-bruce-guide-service.blogspot.ca/2017/12/fisheries-management-zone-16-fmz-16.html

So you're fishing for Musky and you happen to get a 50" or 55"er and you have a conservation licence are you going to take a picture most people likely would, just saying Tight Lines SBK

Don't forget the Spring Fishing Show
spinnerbaitking replied to captpierre's topic in General Discussion
Lots of great seminar speakers with a Musky and Bass day see you there: Fishing & Boat Show coupon: http://lhfcschoolhatcheries.blogspot.ca/ -
If you're targeting bass out of season you can be charged with that even if you release them in the water and I wouldn't want to be the guy throwing musky baits with a conservation licence if your going to fish for them buy the sport licence or should we just forget about all the rules lol. I've been busy with a few blogs up but I'll post one & let you look at the others when you're at the site, we will be expanding again with over 30 schools between all the clubs that are now working together but I'm still waiting for approval for a couple schools & the 8 new chillers will be mailed out on Monday, I have 13 schools set up now & should have another 8 to go if the ones I'll be doing all get approved. Still looking for help & will do a post when all the schools are set up, Komoka, London & Chesley are definately new for me with another new one in Sarnia & 2 different ones in Owen Sound, still working on 2 in Milton, 1 in Collingwood & another 1 in Guelph.
