I have a funny feeling SD that rule was made up just for you way back when so somebody would'nt have to worrie about some of your ideas .......... lol

While i was out fishing yesterday on the lake then making my way home , there was a flock of geese flying a couple of feet above the water going the same direction i was and realy not all that far from the boat , and at that same time this thought came into me head , if i was a fisherman / hunter after catching my fish all day , could i have pulled out my shotgun while in the boat on the water and taken my limit of geese home as well on the way back to the launch ????????????

I would hope the MNR takes its time which it may and do a thurow investagtion to collect the names of the buyers as well and charge them also , you can see with out buyers as this is where the problem starts , there then would be no pochers and this way we might rid our selves of that problem all together , then good luck at doing that .

All kind words and encouragement i don't deserve , i did'nt bring home the big beacon but funny to see some of you like my aquarium , my so called mobile live well if you will .. lol , they are my wifes idea back when so i would'nt muck up my old cuddy cruiser . Haveing a day like yesterday on the water makes me wish i had of gotten out more like that this year but you know prioritys allways take charge . As you can see what won the day for me were the perch in the end and i did'nt have to go home empty handed which made me real happy . I don't mine telling it was done in 47fow on a perch harness with six of them good old natural earth worms . As i think there will be a few more chances yet that we should be able to get out there before the ice sets in i will not be putting the boat away no time soon . Thank you every one ... Ron

I don't know why i even bother to post up a fishing report , i for one like reading every one eles reports for the best Bass or Trout or Musky and walleye that was caught today out there more so then who brought home the perch . Well here ya are i could only bring home the perch today it seems no matter how hard i tryed so i could impress every one here . BUT........ today for the first time since i took up this sport last year i had more fun out there trying things that i picked up from reading it here and from the other memebers i've been out with this year . Today i brought with me every thing i need to tackle just about every thing out there . Funny but i fished aggressively for the first time just like the pro's , i was in and out of the tackle box more times today then i've been all years .... lol , i took six combo's with me all set up to do some thing but i can't remember what for , i fished with gulp minnows , # 2&3 Mepps , lures that i don't even know names of or can't remember . I had a blast trying stuff tho , moving around the lake finding structure , and you know what i found out the most about ......... i found out i still know nothing , the day was just about spent and up til then i had caught nothing but had lots of fun trying . At four oclock i decided to put all the unfamliar stuff away and go try some thing i knew about , that being perch the easist dam thing to catch . I headed to a few spots til i landed on them and in an hour and a half i caught my full limit and headed for home , heres a few pictures just so i can say i did post some , now i am going to eat my dinner , Thank you for taking a look and i hope every one eles had just as much fun today as i did .

You can hunt on land that is zoned agriculture but you can not any where hunt on land thats zoned residential and unfortunately in many places these two zones do butt up to one another . To help eass your fears shots from a shot gun do not travel very far and the distance that you say they are away from you would leave you with nothing to worry about , besides these guy have rules and regs they have to abide by other wise they would'nt be aloud to be out there , at this point i'd say the worst that could happen would be a fully dressed goose show up at your door step ready for the freezer .

Don't go and tarnish your self now , stay as you are , folks like your self are just about extinct , you may be our only link back to finding out what it was like before there were cell phone's . Do your self a favor and stay a virgina long as you can , that way you'll never get those bumps on your forehead from walking in public texting .

Strong and dependable is my old dog "Ram" , if your looking for a good one he's still fiesty for and old dog and he puts all the others to shame when i cut him loose in a swamp i'll tell ya .............nobodys ever seen a dog like him , but no matter if theres 3,5,10 guys out there shooting at the same time , he go's grabs all the bird and delivers them right to the guy who shot'em , and when he's not doing that he's out in the middle of the swamp jumping up and down pointing at the birds that are fyling in yelling 'SHOOT' that one SHOOT that one ! , you got Tundra that far along yet BBgun ????????????

Brian , the guy at home hardware up on Bayfeild in the chip truck is serving chips and dressing NFL style , i have'nt had it yet but one of these days ............

I have the fix and have had it now for quite a few years and it go's like this : just because the phone's ringing dose'nt mean you have to answer it . Try it some time . We don't answer any calls that we don't recgonize , instead we let the machine take them and we screen them later when its conveniant .

when it comes to my bank account Paul you'll have to pick a number ......... , but for every one eles that picutre is a fake .....how ever i did leave the kettle going on the stove this morning and filled the house with smoke , after all was under controll i pm'ed telling Mecrman what happen and if i should put a new element on the stove after that , he then asked me for the make and serial number and with that picture that i lifted of the net for a joke was my responce back to him , it was funny at the time but i guess you had to be there .......lol

i just seen this thread for the first time and what an awsome report it is , some people realy know how to live , its real nice to see some of my old stomping grounds again thru your pictures . Thank you for sharing your trip .

Yup , sooner or later we all need the Mercman .....i went out the door this morning for a few sec's and forgot i had the kettle turned on to make coffee , can you tell from this picture Paul if you have the parts to get my kettle fixed ???????

This is a great thread and i say thank you , you just told me how i can catch a ------ with what lures that are in my tackle box , seriously for this kind of fish that was some thing i did'nt know . Hope it works for me next time i try .
