I've tried my hand at fishing the whitby harbour... all I've caught from there is a cold. I hear there are nice fish that pass through... just haven't seen any.

I got skunked for Whities yesterday... and according to the COs, so did everyone in the area.

These guys are nuts, I mean with the conditions in the video... why are they ice fishing??? Pretty awesome fish though.

Do you car top the Tarpon? If so, is it easy to manhandle on top of the car... or is there some getting used to?

Does anyone have any experience with the Moken 12.5? The wheel at the rear for convenience of pulling around seems interesting to me.

I am also in the market for a kayak... and have been thinking along the lines of the Tarpon 120. I'm going to go check out a few local stores tomorrow and friday and see what I can or can't find.

If that's the case maybe I'll actually try some tribs near home. I can't stand shoulder-to-shoulder fishing, so I usually opt out and drive north.

Right on, at least there's a decent chance of catchin something decent... especially since it's so close to home. I'll probably give'r this weekend. I'm guessing the pike... and the huts... are hanging around the deep hole that I hear exists there?

I've seen people out there, and have heard that they've been catching pikes out there. I am interested in givin'r a go. Is the fishing there any good, or is it like a "right place, right time" kind of deal? I wonder if the perch roll in as well?

The theory of Evolution is indeed, a theory. It isn't complete yet, there are still questions that haven't been answered... and circumstances still unexplainable. But, I will take the incomplete theory of evolution over the supposedly, all-knowing theory of creation any day.
