  1. It wasn't the seafoam that gunked things up. It was the seafoam doing what it does and cleaned things up, all that 30 yr old gunk in my unopened motor passed through did a toll on the plugs.
  2. I've ran seafoam through the crankcase and gas tank of a old Honda CRV and it worked wonders. Same goes with my foxbody... ran it through the crankcase before a oil change and the car just plain ran better after some fresh plugs, the seafoam gunked them up pretty quick. My 50hp merc elpto gets a can of it every other gas tank. Edit: Thanks for the heads up.. will be stocking up soon.
  3. Turns out the axle isn't square with the frame... did some remeasuring and I think I figured it out. Need to jack up the trailer this weekend and loosen everything up, square and re tighten. Thanks everyone.. I hope I'm right.
  4. Dufferin and Lawrence? How ya doin neighbor?.. Spain vs Portugal money wise.. if you dont plan on being in the Algarve then Portugal is way cheaper. The Algarve is hardly Portugal too... great tourist attractions and beaches but food and wine? Go to the north!
  5. That might be my bad photography skills, but I see what your talking about. Can anyone point me in the right direction to a shop that will get this fixed?
  6. Just measured from the hitch to the centre of each hub... getting a 5” difference. what the hell?
  7. Yes, the little hole on the leaf springs is centered with the axle. The axle out of alignment? or do you mean it could be bent? I really don't have much time to tinker with this before my long trip for bass opener. Can anyone recommend someone to take a look at it in the GTA? I'm usually pretty hands on with this sort of thing, but my patience has come to a end. I'll take some pics and report back.
  8. I have a 16.5" deep v aluminum.. I trailer it everywhere. I had a leaf spring blow out close to home a few weeks back.. I was 10 mins from home so I drove on it, there was still 2 leafs intact. So I replace both leaf springs, trailer rides great except it pulls to the passenger side big time.. I have to keep my truck on the left side of the lane so the trailer doesn't run away. Beside's chewing up the tires fast.. it's pretty annoying to tow, MPG's are taking a big hit too. Looking at the trailer it seems like both wheels are pointed towards the right (passenger side) which would explain the dog tracking. It's a simple single axle trailer, no brakes... is it possible I warped my axle towing it home on 2 springs? I thought about taking it to a alignment shop.. but what is there to align? If the axle is bent I'll just replace it. Anyone got a clue as to what is going on? Thanks.
  9. Good on you. I probably would have just skipped the conversation and tipped the bucket. Oops.
  10. It's that simple.. some people make it really hard on themselves.
  11. I would think that's a pretty fair price.. maybe even on the low side of things. Outboards aint cheap. I have a 2009 50hp and love it.. great motor.
  12. My new Daiwa fuego 2500 feels a lot nicer than my sahara 2500.. check it out.
  13. A little off topic but is anyone running a 80# terrova on group 24 batteries? What kind of usage are you getting before they need recharging?
  14. I picked up a BPS pro qualifier reel for my first bait caster about 10 years ago.. spooled it up with 50# power pro and practiced in the backyard. For the money, it's a great reel and you wont find a better one for $100 (unless used of course) I still use it till this day as a beater even though I have $300+ reels. Check it out. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/bass-pro-shops-pro-qualifier-2-baitcast-reel
  15. If you plan on fishing any type of heavy vegetation do yourself the favor and get a breaker, not a fuse. I wouldn't spend the money on the minn kota one. Plenty of cheaper, identical options on amazon. Also.. if anyone needs marine wire check out http://www.genuinedealz.com .. they make custom cables at a great price.
  16. Nothing but power pro for me.. have spent too much money testing other brands and always came back to power pro. I like 10-20# on a spinning real, nothing less than 30# on a baitcaster and go up to 50# depending on application. I've had braid on some spools for almost 5 years and it still looks new. Power pro super slick 50# is pretty good too. A half decent angler can land a big fish on 10# no problem.
  17. Still waiting for the day for a side imaging unit with no gps.. should help the price.
  18. Intense heat and flipping shallow cover for largemouth = a good day
  19. The wind doesn't bother me.. it's the boat control with a 12v trolling motor that does. I gotta step up to a 24v 80#.
  20. True, wasn't thinking about the total ah. Still.. 2 golf cart batteries vs. a group 31 (which I can fit) would give me more ah, yeah?
  21. Anyone running these to power their trolling motor? Currently running a group 27 to power my 50# powerdrive.. looking to get a bit more time on each charge. Space is tight to fit 2 group 27's and not looking to step down to 24's. Looking at most golf cart batteries and they're rated for 200+ah so will give me more than 2 27's would. Just looking for opinions/ideas. Thanks.
  22. Recently upgraded my sonar.. selling this humminbird with transducer and power cable. Unit is like new.. about 10 total hours of run time. $50 located in Toronto.
