  1. Love the green's and the way the moss grows on just about everything. The only green's left here now are the evergreens. I get most of my pics with my son, he uses my old 2mp Sony camera. He's got a good eye and comes up with some great shots or ideas for angles. We usually have our dogs also, so sometimes we'll get a tail or head in them which makes us take more shots. LOL.
  2. Lots to choose from but here's 2. The first one is my son in 2004, the second is my son this past summer. Great having a son who still likes to go fishing with dad.
  3. My only goals were to have fun and enjoy, just based on that it was a ten. Got new PB's on Lake Trout, and another great year of fish fries. My son turned 16 this past year so I even inherited a chauffeur. Life's good.

    Log House

Well it was snowing the other day, so it wasn't prime picture taking, but I did manage to get this shot, and after putting it through HDR, I liked the results. You can see the snow (falling/blowing). It's not my home, I wish, but it's a home I always wanted. Enjoy.
  5. Looking great FO3. Sometimes you can brighten them up by opening them in your photo software. I usually run the HDR's through my photo software to see if it can be enhanced even more. It can turn a flat image to a bright, colorful image.
  6. They can't even sell enough tickets for his "Run Gore Run" Wonder how long it will be before they take the Nobel prize back.
  7. Cotton Cordell Ripplin Red Fin (Chrome Blue or black) I actually do make sure I have one in my van, my quad and my boat. It's not the most durable lure, but it does produce.
  8. Got one also, but from Incredible Fly Fishing. I see he's deleted now. Good work Mods.

    Bull pic

Saw this guy on the weekend, not sure what kind of bull he is, but thought he was a beautiful animal. There was a few others, one was bigger than my sofa, and he was lying down. Anyways it's been quiet in here so here's a pic. Enjoy.
  10. Hey, we're sensitive and that is just wrong. Ha, just kidding Awesome video. Nature, it's so amazing.
  11. What are the Most Relaxing Colors? blues and greens make us feel calm, balanced, and less emotional. Hey Roy, maybe the net should be blue or green to calm the fish down. LOL Some people will buy it, I'm just not one of them, besides you can still see the frame.
  12. That's some awesome fishing. Funny thing happened, someone posted about sturgeon fishing earlier this summer, and about 3 weeks later, my brother in law went to the same place with his workplace, they ended up getting one big one like yours, nearly seven feet long and some smaller ones. So now that makes it the third time now I get to drool over such a trip. Hope to one day go. Congrats on a fishing trip of a lifetime.
  13. "Spending time with your kids is the greatest gift a parent can give" Priceless Keep up the good work Gerrit. My son is gonna be 17 soon and we still spend most of our time together, but now that he's older, we get to go quading, fishing, hunting, geocaching and almost everything else outdoors.
  14. Yes there is, when in tone mapping, you have load and save on the bottom. So you can save a setting, and reload it on other pics to use as a basic point. I got about 5 saved so far. I start by checking each one and then going from there.
  15. Totally awesome HDR's Brandon, some of the best I've seen. Did you save the settings for those, I'd be curious to what they are. Been meaning to ask if anyone has any saved settings that you apply and then tweak, I got some to share.
  16. Wow Dan, looks like a great way to spend the day. I find myself shooting more with the camera also, but I like to bring home at least one bird. Heard the sound of a moose coming through the trees many years ago, we ran to get between three trees that were closely placed like a triangle, sure got the heart pumping. Any ways great pics and walk through to boot. Going for a quad ride with my son, I'll see what we come up with for pics later.
  17. Live every day like it's your last, because one day it will be. Things don't always seem logical, fair, reasonable or have a meaning, but with time we understand. Sorry to hear that Lew, at least you did get to find him and exchange words.
  18. Yuck, snow, but they do make for nice pics. The second shot is awesome. No need for trickery, your pics are enough to get your post seen. Man our bush is getting pretty boring now, all shades of brown and bare white birch trees. But if you look hard enough, you can still find something worthwhile to take a pic. You got a great area out there, green all year round.
  19. Ok, my heart skipped a beat there.
  20. They sure are. Windy days = stationary objects There are some settings to turn down the saturation in Photomatrix. Keepem coming, your on the right track.
  21. Some great shots, I know what your saying about being picky, with all the setting adjustments, you almost have to stop and give the head a shake. LOL. It can get a little confusing after a while. It's OK though, were all learning to get the hang of it. Keep them coming.
  22. Here's 2 of the numerous pics I got today, went out to get a geocache and this was the area it took me too. Saw a partridge, almost stepped on him, but didn't have my camera out so no pics of him. But did get some great shots. There HDR. Hope you enjoy.
  23. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do! LOL
  24. Thanks KK, of course that's the direction with some clouds.LOL I'll keep checking.
  25. Which direction should I be looking to see the comet, the sky is partially clear tonight.
