  1. Great colors in those sunsets FO3. Look forward to what you'll be able to compose up in the New Year.

    finally

Cool, I love wild animal shots, always trying to capture some. 20 minutes, I would of had to pull out my other memory card. LOL
  4. Great shots Brandon, I'm still waiting for my great Bald Eagle shot. I wanted one last year while I was in BC. Every time I tried to get one they were moving or we were moving. And as luck would have it, the day I finally saw one perched in a tree posing for the perfect shot, I had left my camera back at my sister's house. We were just running to Walmart up the road, so I left the camera behind. Seen a couple here in Ontario, but haven't got close enough for a good shot. You got the exact shots I'm looking for, perched in a tree with just the sky behind. I bow my head to you Bud.
  5. Another great artwork Pam, love all your paintings. Glad you share them with us, it's great to see such artwork and right from the artist herself.
  6. Those would look great in HDR, especially the rock walls and old building.
  7. Nice shots Evan, that train bridge looks like it could use a few more crossbeams.

    new toy

I googled to see exactly what you got, looks awesome. Looking forward to seeing some great shots now. Congratulations.
  9. Here's a pic we got out quading this past spring.
  10. I'm still using an old tripod from 20 years ago, but I need to get a new one also. I was also using the cheapy one at walmart for 15 bucks. It was cheap, small but extended to 4", yet fit on the back of my camera bag, so it was a bring everywhere in case you needed one deal. And when I forgot it somewhere, It wasn't the end of the world.LOL
  11. "How can this be Legal to Rip people off.Why is the Ontario Goverment alowing this to go on." The government helps these crooks get away with it. Bell Canada charges people for things even if you don't use it. Like cell phones, if you don't use all your minutes within a limited time, you lose them. Then there's the gas and electricity companies who charge storage and delivery for something that they do neither of. Yet the oil company who comes to my house and physically delivers the fuel, doesn't. Insurance companies that politely threaten to cancel your insurance if you use them. I could go on, we are now paying for services in Property taxes keep increasing, yet our services are getting less and less, soon we'll have to transport our own garbage weekly to the dump. We're all getting screwed one way or another, otherwise we'd all be rich.
  12. That's hilarious, Terry looks like he's the new guy and he watching the teleprompter.
  13. When shore fishing for pike, i used to just cast out the line and let it sit on the bottom (dead bait). sometimes you had to wait an hour, but when fish was on, it was usually a decent sized fish. Casting always seems to catch the smaller one. I'd just stick a big hook through the body twice, have to be careful that the dead bait isn't falling apart though.

Here's a HDR image I did the other day, I extremed it a bit, sometimes extreme is just the way to go. Hope you enjoy.
  15. Great capture. Photomatix can really enhance a great shot as your pics show clearly.

    Winter Photos

Beautiful shots and nothing like being the only one out on a frozen lake.
  17. Beautiful shots and yes that last one is just awesome with the tracks in the snow.
  18. Got this shot before the lakes started to freeze over. Enjoy.
  19. I agree with Dan, the ones in flight are awesome. Got a bottoms up one not to long ago.
  20. great shots FO3, all are lakes are getting frozen over now so are geese are gone south.
  21. Great shots Ramble on, like the low shots of the fields.
  22. Great capture, the waves just crashed into the breakwall and the impact goes close to 15 feet high.
  23. I like the edited version much better, the colors are sharper as also the shadows. The sky and water are much more to truer colors and the water is more detailed.
