I'm guessing that it will pretty difficult for this loogan to either fish or hunt for the foreseeable future. I think the authorities will have an eye out for him. They should take his truck and anything else he used in the commission of these crimes. HH

Try this for wasps... Get a saucer and put some jam in it. Take it to the farthest part of where you is (back fence for example) and leave it there. It will attract and keep them away from where you are at! HH

Mill Lake near Parry Sound Advice Needed
Headhunter replied to Walleye72's topic in General Discussion
My wife's cousin had a place on Mill Lake for a number of years. There are a few tried and true "spots" on that lake that the locals always fish, so my advice is to see where the cluster of boats are and try that area as a starting point. I was able to catch a few pike off their dock and I know there are Pickereyes in there as well. Best part of having a cottage on that lake is that you can order a pizza form Parry Sound and have it delivered to the gov dock! HH -

I heard on the news last night that the province of Quebec is at the point where they have to decide who gets fire assistance and who they have to let burn. Abitibi has been chosen as a priority for the province and a little hamlet called Clova has been left to mother nature. Clova is the jump off point for Air Tamarac, https://tamarac.ca. I was there about four years ago, the 300 km logging road in was a grind, but the facilities and fishing was fantastic. It is a family run business and I am hoping that the fire misses them as it would devastate them. Good thoughts to the folks in Clova! HH

Don't give up on turkey liver yet... chop the liver up into chunks and fry they until cooked through. Add the chopped liver to on chopped onion, chopped peppers and mix into two or three scrambled eggs. If you have some sausage laying around, chop that up and add it as well. Fry it up in some butter. HH Edit...one more thought. Chop up the fried liver and add it to chicken or turkey stuffing!

And will chew anything! I mean anything... virtually every piece of furniture we own now has bite marks. She eats ants off the sidewalk. She eat worms off the sidewalk during rain. We had some windows installed and I found her eating insulation she pulled out of the empty window. Forget those fancy dog chew toys. they are destroyed within minutes! HH -

This is a pic of Maggie smiling. People ask us what breed she is and my reply is always... part Pyrenees, part Lab and part Piranha! HH -

Given the size of that tater, all you would need is a six pack for a seven course meal! HH -

For both roses and tomatoes, my mom used ask me to go down to the river and catch her some carp. She'd dig a hole right in front of her roses and for the tomatoes, right where she would put her plants. Chop up the carp with the shovel, back fill. All natural fertilizer. Her tomatoes and roses were the envy of the street. HH
