  2. Check out Maui Jim's... they also have an assorment of lenses to choose from. HH
  3. I asked Gerritt to hold the squirrel by the eyes, but no, he insisted on the verticle hold! Could not believe the number of marshmellows that squirrel had in it's gut! As usual. we had a blast! Good folks, good laughs, good fishin and good times! What more could a man ask for... ok, maybe that, but yet another epic weekend at Bernie's! Thanks again B and G! And Cliff, I would have done the report for yah! You could have left the watergoat shot out of the report... unless and until I get a shot at embossing Evinrude across it's side. FnS... that suit make yer ass look big! LMAO! HH
  4. Laughing was most definately a no no! And as we got older, the spoon became far less intimidating... that's when my dad decided to try out the fan belt... no laughing matter there at all! HH
  5. My Mom would get even angrier after she broke the wooden spoon on my behind. "Look what you did to my spoon"! That was always my cue to tuck and roll! HH
  6. Well, I had high hopes that a level of decorum would prevail, but alas, I was once again incorrect. One can still hope though, can't they. HH
  7. Funny how a thread I started to help out my fellow members, ie avoid down town, has once again been hijacked into a promoting one's political opinions. None were asked for, none were required. Start your own thread! Thanks guys! HH
  8. It appeaars they are serious this time! Walking around at lunch, I noticed uniforms from all over the province. OPP and T.O. cops together, court officers, you name it. HH
  9. Happy B-Day Joey! I hope ya have a great one! HH
  10. are everywhere in the downtown core this morning. It appears as though they are positioning themselves for the rally going on at Queens Park. Here, at Bay and Queen, we have two bus loads of ETF, dozens of riot equiped police ... so, if you don't have to come down town today, don't! HH
  11. Awesome Wayne! I recall you talking about this while we were ice fishing, nice to see it come together! So, how long of a flight is it to that Brookie lake? You're gonna have a blast with that set up this summer! HH
  12. Linda Ronstad doing Patsy Kline! That just "crazy" man! HH
  13. Well Wayne, it just might be! My thoughts in posting this here were simply to let my brothers and sisters here, have a listen. I thought the kid did a great job and my co-worker here, an absolute "I have Johnny Cash tattoo'd to my butt" fan was amazed. Actually everyone I sent this to had the same reaction... pretty amazing for a 15 year old. My back got up when of course, some folks here decided to shoot the kid down, rather than "enjoy" the clip as my original post suggested. I don't think I asked for your opinion, I simply suggested that you enjoy! And before some of you jump all over that statement, please don't. I will be much more careful about what I share here from now on. Not because I don't want to share, but because I would rather not give a some a forum to display their continual negativity. HH
  14. Glad you liked it Carol... lookin... thanks, my feathers are doing fine. HH
  15. After careful consideration, I think your right... he sounds more like George Michael! How you came to your conclusion that I was baiting the community is beyond me... I was simply sharing this... I guess I'll know better for next time. Tiller! HH
  16. Yup... opinions are like....... Rapala's.... everybody's got one. Some just seem to be casting theirs around lookin for snags. HH
  17. Well, to those who say he doesn't sound like Cash, how many of you can actually say you heard Johnny sing when he was 16 years old? Might well have sounded like that... regardless, I think the kid's got something going on and I look forward to hearing more from him in the future! Man, it seems to me that there are some folks here who simply must be the polar opposite of just about anything anybody says... must be fun folks to live with! HH
  18. Actually G, that's exactly my first thought when I saw this, this morning... I really think he nails many of the sublties that made Cash, so awesome. Can only imagine how good he will be when his voice matures and his skills get honed. HH
  19. Barbados! Civilized, English speaking, Canadian banks everywhere, real booze and food and the farthest island out in the Atlantic... and the deep sea fishing is great! HH
  20. This is for all the Johnny Cash fans out there! http://www.katu.com/home/video/11944831.ht...deo=pop&t=a HH
  21. Great report and pics G! You experience out on the big water is very similar to mine... except the folks chumming the water in my situation were a young Bristish couple who spent the entire charter, chumming the water, while my wife and I drank beer! Looks like a beautiful place, hope the food was good, looked like the bar was good! LOL HH
  22. My best man surprised me by arriving at my office, putting a bag over my head (no, not the first time that's happened) and walked me down Bay street to a waiting van. I had no idea what was going on. After a few hours of sitting in a van with a bag over my head, we arrived at Stoney Lake, where he had arranged to have a number of my friends and enemy's waiting in three rented cottages. I recall arriving and leaving... not much else... although, many of my friends harken back to that weekend with a smile... I couldn't even tell you the name of the place! I was a blast! I think! I'm with Daplumma on the ballet thing... I don't wanna see a menu I can't order from! HH
  23. Care to pass along an address Capt Bruce.... I aspire to reach your lofty goals! I only have one room, but based on my G.A.S. problem (GAS - Gear Aquisition Syndrom) I will be filling it up a bit more this weekend! HH
  24. Hey Peter, My only experience with them is the Tom Scholz Power Soak, from many years ago. The folks I knew using them either really liked what they did or hated the sound. Many complained that the tone they were looking for was gone after engaging the soak. Wish I could help more... just a thought, but maybe consider using a pedal to get that distortion your looking for, rather then heating up those beautiful tubes. POD, etc.... HH
  25. Happy B-Day Bill... are you legal now? HH
