  1. I like the way you think Terry! Warranty work! LMAO! HH
  2. Spending a day tearing down the last few houses you framed, might inspire him to pay you... or alternatively, getting your truck stuck in the drive, you know, the one all the material suppliers use to provide for the area... I know, but I am just trying to be creative! HH
  3. Yah, but why have them green, when you can have 'em red!? HH
  4. Brian, my Jimmy was acting in a similar way... so I did what every good OFC'er would... I asked Bernie! He described my problem for me! LOL The engine would run fine, at start up and at pretty much any other time, unless and until I put the engine in a low RPM, high torque situation. It would chug and try and die and only after giving it more gas would it even out... Bernie's answer, sight un-seen... "Joe, your coils gone". Sure enough, new coil, wires etc... running like brand new. Just a thought, heck, I am entitled to one a day! HH
  5. BOb, toss the green tomatos in a paper bag, with a ripe apple. Close the bag and leave it on the counter for a couple of days... you now have ripe tomatos. HH
  6. You had me at the flying baby pic! Fantastic shots and thanks very much for posting... HH
  7. I sure hope that this doesn't affect the weather dudes' ability to accurately predict the weather! HH
  8. LMAO! Sigged! HH
  9. Yup and it's gonna get worse... just found out that Uncle Dalty has already signed off on charging us HST on smart meters. Yes, you read that right, he has approved an HST charge on using smart meters, which, btw, they insisted on installing at our homes... HH
  10. Well, here in "The Big Smoke", if one of my employees brought their gun to work, the first thing I would ask them is, is your gun going to make us any money? Because really, work is about making money. That may be considered a bad attitude north of 17, but in reality, that's why we work. And if one of my employess brought in their; -fishing rod -model car/airplane -guitar etc..., I would have the same attitude. That my friend is the opinion of a "Big Smoke" dweller. HH
  11. That looks like a blast! thanks for posting! HH
  12. ***UPDATE**** Our cottage at Perfect Vue is booked, with our happy little gorup of 7 confirmed anglers and Lincoln. As mentioned, we will be arriving on Nov. 18th and departing on Nov. 20th. HH
  13. Glad your ok Gerritt! Pepperettes! HH
  14. Nice! Now go back and draw a net around that fish, so it feels more like home! HH
  15. Care to elaborate? Or is this simply a typo? HH
  16. Just yanking yer chain Bro LOL... Take your time, keep your eyes peeled, especially for vehicles that have these four letters on the roof...TAXI! Im my many years of driving, I can say that these professional drivers are the one's you really have to watch out for... HH
  17. Driving in the GTA on the 401, where the weak are killed and eaten! Seriously dude, if you are already in semi-freak mode, just considering driving through T.O., then perhaps you should re-consider your trip... And if you find that you must, avoid any and all day light hours... and don't look at the other drivers... you may be their next meal! muah ha ha ha! HH
  18. Thanks for this Ron... I canonly imagine the inconvenience this has added to your already busy life... add me to the list of folks willing to contribute to any kind of defense fund... HH
  19. Skeeter, wear the leather this time... the whips and ball gager could also use a cleaning... just sayin. HH
  20. yUp... it looks like we have two dates, with our little "group" arriving on Nov 18th, 19th and 20th. LLoyd, I had no idea that you were having health concerns and I am genuinely pleased that things are good now. I will be booking our little love nest at Perfect Vue some time today... Terry, Wayne and Lloyd... sorry it's not working out, but at this point, it is what it is. To the guys who have been pm'ing me about this trip, I need to know numbers so I can reserve a cottage suitable for our needs... I also need to let the dominatrix know the dates so she can get her various accoutrements tuned up and in proper working order. Young-one... get yer mom to stock up on noodles... HH
  21. The secret bait was very much up for debate... we had to decide whether to show the bait or the location in the pics... we decided that we simply could not keep that highly successful bait, out of our OFC brother's arsenal, hence the pics with the fish. That said, I am somewhat disappointed that CCMT did not blur out the background on some of those pics as the combination of "secret lure" and location would be deadly to the local anglers as well any comercial endevours on the lake. I know that Cliff will do the right thing and re-visit some of those pics! HH
  22. Thanks for doing the report Cliff... well since you were the only one taking pics, I guess that by default, the job is yours! As usual, I had a great time... good friends, good eats, the occasional fish, a bottle of vodka in the freezer and we are good to go! What I learned this weekend... -just because the dog eats 'em, I shouldn't eat pine cones! -marshmellows don't have to be fresh, to work! -if Gerritt tries to get you to eat something, be very sure that in it's native form, it will pass light... otherwise, you may be in for a world of hurt -carling makes a breakfast beer -NASCAR drivers don't use signals to indicate a left turn! -it's a fun game, if you play it slow -one rod to rule them all! Thanks again Bernie... it takes a special kind of guy to invite a group of asses up to their cottage every year... we all appreciate it. So, how does "Brown Eyed Girl" start again... HH
  23. I have been in a four year feud with Toronto Hydro over our constant blackouts. Since I moved into the house, four years ago, we have had a steady stream of outages. some lasting hours, some lasting minutes. My greatest fear re the outages stems from the power surges that proceed and follow outages. There are spikes when the power goes out and when it comes back on. I have connected with Toronto Hydo numerous times and have kept a running log of the outages. I have spoken with many techs at T.H and the answer is always the same. "there are a number of trees in your neighbourhood and they, plus animals can cause lines to be broken. This answer was unacceptable to me, as all our hydro lines are... buried! So, after much calling, sniffing and generally being a pain in the anus, I have found out the following... Historically, before the amalgamation of Toronto Hydro and Scarborough Hydo, Scrborough Hydro had a team of workers, who's sole job was to climb into the ground based transformers and clean out any debres (leaves, trash)from the bottom of the vault, to ensure that the drain in the vault was clear. Well, our good friends at Toronto Hydro deemed that function to be redundent and killed the job. So, when ever it rains, there's a good chance that I will lose power. T.H. has told me to put a UPS (uninteruptable power supply) on every circuit in my house, to ensure that I don't loose any electronic equipment. The cost of each unit is in the $200 to $300 range. I have already had to replace my TV once... but Hydro says that if I have a receipt, they will give me the depreciation value of the TV... it was 15 years old!!!! So, in answering the O.P.'s question, yah, we here in Toronto have to put up with the same crap, only we don't get to know when the power is going to go out... atleast they give you a heads up! HH
  24. Ok... so lets try this again... it's like herding freakin cats here!... Is everybody ok with the 18th, 19th and 20th? HH
  25. Well isn't that great for youse guys... never really occured to any of you to perhaps let the rest of the class in on the little secret? (Dam Roy, you were so right!) Ok, so in an effort to build a consensus, do we stay with the 11th, 12th and 13th or move to the following weekend so we can watch/hear Lloyd blow his air horn at the morons trolling in his way? HH
