I've had some strange looks as well Bill,also been confronted as to why would I be fishing and not keeping the fish. That was at two different times. Some people get really aggressive . You can tell they are not from the area.

What works for me sometimes,find when your float hits the bottom(stuck or sideways) and lower the float in 6" increments until the float runs upright.As said earlier make sure your split shot is between 12 and 18" from your roe bag or whatever your using. Hope this is of some use. good luck.

That's to bad.Bit young to have died ,obviously was sick. I have two the same,one approx 12",the other 10". Mine are almost 16 years old now. Still young at heart and wait with mouths open to drop food in their mouths. These fish under proper water and food care can live in more than 30 years.You never get tired of the gum line,just plain nasty!

I saw the new explorer and it looks sweet. More horsepower than mine,wider wheelbase,better mileage,stronger tow capacity.Something else to look at I would think?. Can't go wrong with the f-150 4 door 4x4. I'm thinking your going that route:thumbsup_anim:
