There is a piranha prop demo going on tomorrow morning at a local Ottawa tackle shop and I was wondering if anyone has one and what they think of them? I need a new prop and checking out their website they sound pretty good and are fairly inexpensive. Do they break easy? Are they trouble free? Any performance issues? I just bought a 90hp etec and have the same problem. Luckily there is a Piranha prop demo going on at a local Ottawa tackle shop tomorrow morning and I will be looking to replace the standard 13.25X19 prop that came with the etec. This way I can try different pitch props before buying anything. Right now I can get 44mph but am only at 4300rpm wot. So basically it doesn't matter if it's a merc or an etec, the standard props suck. brufan

I love my Legend, now that I maxed out the HP! All the bells and whistles and $10k less than similar products from the makers you mentioned. If money were no object I would definately go with Lund or Princecraft or Sylvan. brufan

Yes, I forgot the cheap beer!! Costco in Gatineau sells 55 can packs of Coors Lite for $51.15! Some of the local corner stores sell it even cheaper. Also, Gar pike, landlocked salmon on the Quebec side, monster (for Ontario) Sturgeon, and a 1 hour trip to the lake takes 1 hour in rush hour. I have a feeling it takes a bit longer in GTA rush hour. Algonquin Park is nearby as well. I'm sure the GTA is a great place to live and fish, I'm just saying that you won't be lacking anything by moving to Ottawa. good luck, brufan

Try kijiji in Ottawa. There are some amazing deals out here right now. ps, I have a 2003 Legend that originally came with a 40hp. The original owner upgraded to a 60hp. I bought the boat 3 years ago and it was still underpowered so I just upgraded to a 90hp evinrude which is the max. As was said earlier, get as close to the max as you can! pps, If you do find something and need an outboard, my 60hp 4 stroke is still for sale... good luck, brufan

Hi, awesome fishing opportunities in the Ottawa area where you can catch every freshwater fish imaginable within an hours drive. The rivers get a little busy on the weekends but there are tonnes of lakes to choose from. Fish during the week and you have the lakes to yourself. brufan

Hi all, new member here, just thought I'd say hi and look forward to sharing and reading information with you all. I live in the Ottawa area and fish mainly bass around Ottawa and on the Quebec side. We have our camp on a small Quebec lake loaded with huge SMB so I will be posting lots of pics and reports during bass season. My fishing buddy is my son who's 7 and he also handles the camera since he doesn't like to hold the fish just yet. Also fish for Walleye, pike and the occasional Musky trip up the Rideau river which is 10 minutes from my home. You have a great site here and I look forward to contributing. thanks, Brufan
