They are probably required by law to gather information to justify their decision. Hopefully it will be considered private information and not released.
Actually vertically is usually okay for bass; not so much for other species. It's tilting the bass at an angle while only holding the lower lip that will injure a bass.
Camping locations are personal information that should not be released. I would consider filing a complaint to police because the request could be considered stalking.
Kind of hard to judge the size when the fish is closer to the camera than it is to you There is no such thing as a 'typical 8lber' in Ontario. Largemouth that size are pretty rare in Ontario.
As long as they are cooked, you should be fine. They are also easy to pick out. Unless the fish is full of them you should be able to avoid eating any.
I have eaten large mouth; I think they taste pretty good.
I bought an ultra violet light container to make lures glow. For those of you using ultra violet light to bring out the glow in your tackle; how long do find that it takes to give the lures their charge?
Thanks,
Thanks, that doesn't look like something that you would want to keep in your boat. Nor, would the park owner likely want that sitting around the dock all summer.
Rockbass are not a bait fish, so it is not okay. The point of not allowing people to transport fish is to prevent them from introducing them into other water bodies. I don't think that we want people introducing rockbass into other water bodies.
Welcome. What lakes do you usually fish? I used to fish Baptiste Lake a lot. I also fished Allen Lake in Harcourt park. I have been meaning to get back up that way. Did you get your boat from Baptiste Lake Marina by any chance? My first boat was a 14.5' Sea Nymth from there.
I am not really familiar with the area. A Google Earth or Google Maps + Satelite search may reveal likely spots. Public access points may not show up on a Google search; but actual boat launches probably will.
Does anyone know if the parking lot for the Whitby public launch usually fills up on the weekend? Or, is there usually parking available even on a weekend with not too much wind?
Interesting. If you are successful and earning enough money to pay the loan, the loan is foregiven. But, if you fail to turn a profit and thus don't have any money to pay, then you're on the hook for it.
Talk about boom or bust.
