  1. ya make sure you have water coming out the peep, or it will not be a good opening weekend for ya.
  2. what type and size and yr of motor do you own. You will get better direction from the group if you provide that information Most marina's, boat sales and service locations and even CTC sells the muffs.
  3. I'm also shootin a remington 870 pump 28 inch barrel been using "kent ultimate diamond shot" 2 3/4" 1 5/8 load charge, nice pattern....no luck yet however! dang.
  4. Innisfil seems to be ok, i've seen good numbers recently....well up until the snow fall. Counting down the days until opening. One thing we can count on, is that it will be wet. Below after temps expected for balance of April, with snow and rain for the next 14 for sure.
  5. Guys, take a left, and then a right hand on the next line......park on the ice. It's free. On the weekends or on a nice day, in the summer, unless you get up early.....don't bother trying to use the launch or the park.....it's full. I guess they don't charge enough.
  6. get used to this guys. We are headed into a user pay society. Towns, Cities, Provinces, Countries cant afford to offer very much for free these days.
  7. don't forget to check the lower unit gear oil. In Spring (since i change it in the fall winterizing)I like to make sure it's topped up, and clean not milky.
  8. i got the ted reader q last yearon sale at ctc, love it. i did my research as well, all major components are in inventory and under warranty. I used it all winter as well, starts every time. It was easy to assemble. last summer they had a tent sale at kempenfest, picked up a cover, and a bunch of other stufgenerously proportionedor it real cheap. I like the fact that i can be at the factory parts desk in 15minutes. I know parts are made in China, or even assembled in CHina, however I also know that the China plant is owned by them, not true for most other mfgrs Proof is in the pictures

  10. i figured i'd catch a few of you on that.
  11. So I'm shopping for waders (anyone got a used pair, size 10 or so) and looking at what CTC has to offer. Why is it they always show people that have no idea how to hold a rod and reel. How many of you have seen this type of thing before? Note;spinning reel upside down
  12. if you are a CAA member, check them out for tickets, they often have promotions (ie cdn money at par etc) for park tickets. Also dont forget about Universal studios, also a great time.
  13. nicely done. I love the colour of his remaining antler, too bad it didnt have the other side, it would of made for a very impressive rack.
  14. How was the Rack on the Bull? or was he a young fella, he may have been yearling calf?
  15. Dont you just love it when one of the set is larger then the other. You are right about Hunting vs fishing, i was thinking the same thing, but stayed with the hunt gang.
  16. Well, it sure was the warmest weather i've ever hunted in. The deer were not moving like they normally would for us, however we did manage to get a couple. I shot a Doe at 2 pm on the Monday, i think it was 16 degrees, at the time. Another fella in the gang got a buck with the some odd antlers on Thursday morning. We hunt down in Niagara area, 89A and it was a good thing we new a guy with a walk in cooler (converted sea container with refer unit) to store the meat until we butchered on the Sunday. yum love the deer sausage
