  5. Bingo. Gotta trust your tie
  6. Berkley Crystal on the spinning gear, Power Pro and Suffix on the baitcast set ups. Most have flouro leaders. Only mono is on the walleye trolling rods, the pier caster and catfish set ups and of course panfish set ups.
  7. It works?!?! Sweet cause i got lots. Gonna give it a try. Thanks for the tip!!
  8. Thought so. She can be a mean and sneaky Bisnatch. Good news indeed
  9. I'd bet Mother Nature had something to do with it
  10. This has happened a lot this spring. It was stolen and I have a good idea who it was........
  11. Anything can happen no matter the boat, float suits and/or whatever safety devices on board. Given Temps and a time of year when 3/4 of people have gone home for the winter, one wrong move and no one hears or sees you. Dead in the water. Nothing new. Sad but if not them there, someone somewhere else.
  12. I'll be 50 this year and although I've battled through many a circumstance for the thrill of the hit the combination of temps and moisture just ain't worth it. Sitting out for sure but gonna make a trip up to our place just the same. Been 10 months and I still haven"t raised a flagpole. Better get on that before the neighbours chase me out of town.
  13. Welcome to the board.
  14. Ask $100 and take no less than $50. Didn't cost you anything.
  15. Wont need to build that other section of dock after all. Last year had me a bit concerned. Let it rain.
  16. Haven't winterized my boat in 5 years so it's always ready to go. Weather cooperates I'll be hunting Crappie for another week before attention turns to Walleye.
  17. We roughed them up pretty good a couple a weeks ago on our first trip on the Detroit River. I couldn't agree more though. "Hurry up guys and gals !! You taste much better than those dual Citizenship Wallys!!"
  18. So you thought you could just give a glowing endorsement like that and leave everyone hanging? Cough up a pic or two.....no?
  19. Nelson welding. Located on Finley. Ive used him for some steel welds. Not sure if he does it but im sure he knows someone that does.
  20. Plenty of room for gear in there. Enjoy.
  21. So the likes of Minn Kota and Motorguide lack money, time and etc? MG built their own 3 blade and if you take a close look it isnt even close to the dimensions that Kipawa uses. Same argument people use for some automotive applications and then they wonder why things go "knock, screech and boom". The sacrifice is actually made when you take an engineered product and change parameters that test limits refined by years of testing. Manufacturers also let you know you void a warranty when you use certain after market add ons. I emailed Kipawa and they said, "We have not experienced that in our motors and they have been used for years. Same for many of our customers" What else would they say? No stats on how many hours of a motors life are cut short due to its use. Just sayin.
  22. The feedback pins it as a go to aftermarket product. Engineers spend years refining a product to hone and tune it to be the best it can be. Anyone bother to ask themselves, or better yet ask Minn Kota why they don't make a 3 blade available themselves?
  23. The way your post started had me looking for the "back" key. Hope it all works out for you.
  24. A waste indeed. I dont leave anything but guts when i poach. There's soup in them there bones.
