In yesterdays Toronto Sun they asked the question Do you plan to mark Remembrance Day?70% answered yes,privately,22% yes at a service 3% said they were too busy!! And the kicker 6% said DON"T CARE!!! Who are these 6% and what the hell are they thinking!!Sad...

I think they said those jerseys where from the 1920's.They should have stayed there.

Maybe if they had players with talent like Gilmour,Potvin etc they would have a better team.Talent wise they are very thin.Especially up front.

Heard on the news last night that in Vaughan they were doing 150 people an hour.Wait time upwards of 5 hours.I've got both my boys home today one seems like he has the flu the other not so much.Hopefully if it is a flu just a regular one.Not sure about getting a shot got to wait until at least next week here in the city.If the goverment wants people to get the shot they should open more clinics.Here in toronto they should set up at schools etc and do the population or those that want it by street or postal code.Causing people to wait in long lines for hours only causes more grief and stress.

I cottage on that lake.The bass will be crazy this time of year.Lots of bass in there.Finding the big ones can be tricky.Try away from the cottages over where all the fallen trees are you might get into size there.Trout are hard to come by this time of year but can still be caught.You'll need to be out in the middle od the lake for that.Thie will be the first opener i've missed up there in about 8 or 9 years,but we've got other plans.Good luck and let me know how you make out.

Touchy subject.I know that when i finished high school (1978) it would have done me a world of good.but i didn't realize that until a few years later.Then i got married and had two girls in the mid 1980's and the thought of them in the services never crossed my mind.Now that i've got two young boys age 9&7 the thought of them in the services scares the hell out of me.It might do them the world of good but it still scares me.God bless them all.

My wifes a teacher and i work for another school board(non teaching).She dosen't/didnt' want to go on strike.The majority of teachers i work with don't want to go on strike.The problem was they haven't or did vote on a strike.The higher ups in the union were the ones making the decisions.I'm sure if given a chance to vote the teachers would have taken the contract offered in November.
