Because he wants peace and Quiet Gerritt just like you when you go to a G2G you go to bed early calm and peaceful like a 4 stroke. After several motors over the years having both 2 s and 4 stroke I will not go back to noisy 2 strokes fumes rough idle while trolling etc...

Let`s hear it for the Habs!!!
Mike the Pike replied to lookinforwalleye's topic in General Discussion
Go Habs Go yes I am a habs fan but when there losing I never put them down. Well if they don't win the cup it won't change my life May after all is one of the best times of year to go fishing and that is where my priority is.Some of these guys make more than my annual salary playing just a a game or 2.What I do like right now is hockey is good for the Quebec economy. Restaurants, sportsbars and pubs are full during the tough economic times its great to see some benefits of Hockey.Must be the same in Vancouver. Now if the habs don't win the cup it would be sweet to see Vancouver take it. With that said lets bring the cup back to Canada -

Hey Roy I hope the bite will be on for ya this was my Worst Quinte opener as I try for the big one,I know how to catch wee ones but they don't win tournaments. Strange weekend even my favorite pike spots were no longer available due to very low water levels.Lots of perch caught.I did see Lloyd out there this morning doing his thing I hope he was catching because I was not.My fishing partner landed a nice one Saturday morning 6lbs 2oz.I will be back in the BOQ May 28th for a 3 day weekend don't worry I know Lloyd will put ya on fish .Enjoy his big comfy Princecraft.

OK Roy so which lottery did you win. With all that money you could have at least paid some young lad to clean up all that snow.

So who is going to BAy of Quinte this Weekend?
Mike the Pike replied to Mike the Pike's topic in General Discussion
Whoa not many going this year -
All I can say about Honda is VERY RELIABLE. I had a 1980 7.5hp Honda bought it used in 2001 sold it in 2004 zero problems with it despite its age. I had a 50hp Honda 8yrs old again zero issues and it was so fuel eficient compared to my 60hp Yamaha. Currently have a 2hp long shaft for a kicker again can't complain so far so good. The only thing I don't like about the 2hp is it is noisy because it is air cooled.Yes Mercury costs less I believe under 90hp is made in China this may explain the cheaper price. Many on this board will tell you they are Happy with there Mercs. I don't think you would be dissapointed if you opt for the Merc. I personally like Japanese products have had many and have been very satisfied.Good luck with your purchase.

Actually Jacques it was very cold Sunday morning forgot my tuque in the van. Found some hand warmers in my box and I was using them. That fish was caught at 7am it was still quite chilly at that time. In the afternoon it warmed up a little. We jigged for some perch to keep the young lad happy. The protected bays were warm when we returned to the launch at 3pm I had gone back to a t-shirt. Was a great day. Thanks for the kind words.MTP
