We were heading down Curve Lake Road when it hit...Like driving in a river...It ended as we pulled in for gas so luckily no one got drenched doing the pumping thing...LOL
Most days gas is 20-25 cents a liter cheaper than in Bobcaygeon and like Lew I am about 23 kilometers away so it is worth driving there and back to save...
Any time we have a reason to have to go to Buckhorn or Lakefield or Peterboro we fill up at Curve Lake even if it is only 1/4 tanks worth...
I figure it is worth the extra few klms to drive to Curve Lake for $1.249 rather than pay $1.449 in Bobcaygeon...it must be about the same distance for you Lew...especially if you need to go down to Lakefield or P'Boro...
Hey Cliff...My step-son who is staying with us for a few weeks would be glad to help...I myself am lucky to drive as far as Lindsay/P"tboro and back without experiencing back pain but he is much younger (60) than I (most people are)....As he has a license but no car do you want us to drive him to Lindsay or will you pick him up here ?...I take it is a there and back trip...? He has to be back here to drive MB to Oshawa on Friday...
Hey Lew...Here is the site I look at to find how much Curve Lake is charging for regular...

$6 a dozen...That's $0.50 each worm...Cripes ! eggs don't cost that much (yet)...
When worms cost $3 I switched to tiny tubes for the kids...They were just as happy and not so many "ews and yucks" and tubes worked well for panfish and the odd bass...
The young lady in the first pictures liked fishing so much she asked Santa for a rod and reel for Christmas !
I've been stung a couple of times on longer delivery time mainly because the item had to come up from the states...Eventually I got my order...Most times Amazon delivers as promised or even a day or two earlier...
Mind you they did send me an e-mail notifying me of the delay !
