    HI

Had no idea you were a boxer. It makes you hands, arms and elbows hurt when you get old.Road work is your friend.Good luck with the move. Joe
  4. Ed Zachery what I meant Cliff. The internet is a wonderful place for a lot of stuff but the medical advice is off the hook, the shots before bed was meant as a goof. The bit about sleep deprivation is very real but the Al Gores amazing internet would make you think that both the shots and sleep deprivation carried equal merit in the solution to his dry palete.Go see a doctor in person. Joe
  5. Our power play was pathetic,we played without heart. Our guys were doggong it and expecting the puck to bounce our way.I feel bad for OV,Backstrom,Carlson.Chimera and a few others that gave the 100%.The rest thought it was there cup to lose...They lost it!The team is still very young and will be a force for years to come, thank you Ted.I could pick apart the referee bad calls and the bad luck but the bottom line is this series shhould not have even been close enough for a few bad calls to make a difference. We played poorly and the Canadiens wanted it more.Very humbleing and now I have no hockey to watch until fall.Best of luck to whoever wins this thing,I think the best team has been eliminated and educated. Joe
  6. Sleep deprivation will amplify many symptoms.Try a few shots before going to bed to help you sleep.Seriously, the internet is not the place to go for medical advice..too many whackos with adtictdotal stories and no studies or facts to back it up.Good luck. Joe
  7. Did I type that out loud?
  8. Marty..I so hate you, bud.May your Pens stars end up in your office with Rothlisberger.queen! Joe
  9. Wow Halak is incredible, hope he keeps it up and y'all win the cup.I'm a bit bummed as I have been following the Caps since the late 70's and I thought this was THE year.Too many woulda shoulda moments,no exuses here,we were out goalied for sure. The Caps still had a great season and the presidents cup as well as some pretty great offense this year.I knew we were in trouble when we went into too many OT games down the stretch.Played down to too many teams we should have crushed and rested too much. Its much better to enter the playoffs sharp and hungry rather than looking for excuses to win.Good job Canadiens! Joe
  10. My condolences, its always hard to lose a freind. If it makes you feel better your buddy does not know what happened, they dont reflect on their mortality or relive the past. They are there for that moment and that is what makes them so special to us.My guy is going on 15 and that day will also come for us.I will know he had a great life and was a true friend. Joe
  11. I can teach her to swim, just send her down here.I promise to give her back.NOT.I think Rick posted this a few years back but I just came back across it. Joe
  12. If this does not move you then you have no hockey soul! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3543915687782188168&q=the+sweater#
  13. Amazing that a little balckmail goes such a long way.I had a chicken roosting on him and he still stayed in charactor. Joe
  14. Planters for herbs, basil, parsley, thyme and rosemary.Keeps them from going crazy and taking over the garden. Joe
  15. This was the Potomac river about 10 miles south of Washington DC.Tidal and mostly fresh water. The Stripers are born in fresh and go out to sea. This one has not been to the ocean yet. They return to spawn this time of year and then the big one come in.Art has a license for the gill net and its his boat.He has the cats dialed in on that part of the river. Joe
  16. Most exellent fish there...and hat. Joe
  17. Thats a bit harsh there Rich, however will they pee? Joe
  18. A long term project for sure.Been going on for 6 years now, trying to make the same tree twice.Like a big ass bonzai. Sorry bout all the other stuff going on in the pic, just life around here. Joe
  19. They called them surgical eels back in the 70's.Surgical tubing with hooks.Umbrella rigs and big white plastic shads thumping along behind the boat work. Not a lot of fun though, unless you can stop the boat and figh tthe fish.Mostly its dragging dead weight behind a trolling boat.Catching them upriver on a pike weight rig with minimal weight is an epic battle.Hope you get a chance to catch one.Exellent table fare. Joe
  20. Took the big boat out today for a shakedown and some Catfishing.Cloudy, drizzley 55F perfect weather for cats. Here she is,made it thru the winter,45 inches of snow at one point.Kept Art on his toes keeping here afloat. First order is to get some bait...Shad!Set out the gill net. Pull in the net. Bait! Both captains plotting the course First mate setting up Quick run to the good spot. Fish on,Pops gets into one.Sadly this will be the only kitty. The big Blues are spawning so they are not out now. This is a respectable Channel though. One little striper came out to play, well under the 28"limit. Some scenery. The End
  21. Yeah..Thats what I mean.Good luck getting your lure into some wood...I guess..Not that there is anything wrong with that.Fishing the GTA? Joe
  22. Is that morning quest anything like morning wood?Good luck with both old man! Joe
  23. Try using circle hooks, takes a little getting used when "setting"the hook but lots of hookups and no deep gut hooks.Good luck! Joe
