LOL Joey Old Smoke got more wins in a car this year than Mikey got combined in Nextel TG you are correct it was a very sad day when M. Waltrip won his first race. I was watching the truck practice at lunch time and Mikey was on saying he couldn't believe that one of his crew was caught trying to make up for a "oil problem" Man those trucks are right on the edge at 189mph three wide I will have to one thing though I just read an update and Mike isn't ducking anything and is taking full responsiblity so that's kinda of refreshing.

You are right about the honest part though had a few custom agents asked some of the wall question just to see my response. The passport for driving into the US from either Mexico or Canada goes into effect Jan 1 2008 as of right this moment. Air travel was manditory as this past January. This whole passport deal was the US doing and not by the Canadian or Mexican goverment. I've had a couple problems with travel to and from in the past but nothing major, biggest problem I had was coming back into the US because I didn't have a birth certificate only a driver license. If it would have been for DEI ole Mikey would have still been winless. If I'm not mistaken he held the longest wineless streak for current drivers until he won his first at Daytona.

This wasn't from yesterday or today but this actually happen a few years back and it's the funniest that I personally heard. I work in construction and one of the crew bowled every Weds. night and he has a girl call the answer machine and pretends to be his wife and states that GARY will not be to work today because he has the flu, now the whole time you can hear the background noise from the bowling alley and the girl must have gotten confused because she handed the phone to Gary and he thinks it already hung up and proceeds to order a round of beers for the team because he doesn't have to go to work in the morning and this goes on until the answer machine times out. Well needless to say the recording was save for Gary when he returned for work on Friday (had to get his check so he couldn't miss payday ) well by this time everyone and their brother had heard the recording so he took a pretty good ribbing for quite awhile over that one. Oh BTW I was the only one that made it to work today out of five.

Didn't know ya had to pay to ride the short bus

Well we've had a winter storm warning since Saturday and it finally got here after midnight last night. They had pretty much cancelled everything here last night before it even got here Got up at five and shoveled the first six inches of what supposed to be 10-12" today. I was getting ready to leave for work and all my guys called off so I'm thinking what the point, looks like I'll have to find something to do today Whopper

I hear ya Pete, been doing this construction thing for 30years and the whole thing has changed since I started. Sometimes it just not how well you do your job it's all about the money and "arn't you done yet". One of my pet pieves is out of sequence work that generally cost more (for the subs) and takes longer. Whopper

DanC would be a great mentor. One of my winter projects was to get better at taking pics and learn how to use all the bells and wistles that go along the digi camera. I'm kinda of struggling with the editing stuff. I have found that my camera is usually close by these days.
