  1. Ouch I hope it heals up by the opener
  2. Thanks for the update Lew. Sad news indeed about Kevin, he's a good man. Lakair is probably one of the nicest fish camps I've ever been to.
  3. Yep Roy there up that way. Connie and I have caught a few north of Simon on Little Vermilion.Down here we catch saugeye, their a cross between a walleye and a sauger. They get much bigger than a sauger and the only way you can tell the difference between them and a walleye is the spots on the dorsal fin
  4. Wayne I love your rides around the block
  5. About time Wayne's crew caught a break. Thanks for sharing this entire experience with us Wayne
  6. Yep I don't ask about the shoes and handbags and she doesn't ask me about my gear I don't spend much money except on fishing gear and fishing trips
  7. Wish I was a little bit closer Mr Parker A bunch guys from a local club here go to the same place in KY
  8. Just another page of the test Wayne, and your still passing with flying colors. Hang in there my friend
  9. Do a search, lot's of post for you to read on the subject to keep you busy
  10. Well done Dave! And to think I don't even have enough room in my garage to fix my snowblower
  11. Local news picked up the story also. Sad deal indeed
  12. Good story Lew. At -2F this morning there is no way I would have drove a convertible to work On another note, just curious, did that beast have power steering?
  13. Yep, and I can remember helping my dad install a state of the art VHF/UHF antena on the roof that was about twelve feet tall, what a nightmare, all that yelling and screaming to communicate while "TUNNING" it in I also remember the neighbor getting the very first color TV in the neighborhood, all the kids lined up for their turn at peek, crazy times for sure
  14. I don't think I could handle 60" of OFC unless it was fish porn I can just about imagine what the Mrs. said
  15. I find your comments interesting, camping I am not surprised but the fishing opportunities kind of surprised me. I've spoken to a few people that fish up your way and over in the Indian Chain lakes region and they have told me the fishing is very good. Lot's of the fishing shows aired in this area showcase fishing in your area and north. I had been thinking of doing some weekend trips up that way to check things out, maybe I should re-think
  16. Kind of like pick up trucks Lew
  17. Thanks for the positive update Wayne. Jen looks great!
  18. I hope Mike is the one that catches him
  19. FOR SURE Ouch, that's going to leave a mark
  20. I thought the soda did that to ya Wayne you and your family have been a pillar of strength. A good example for most of us. Thanks!
  21. I don't do FB so I asked Mrs Whopper to do the deed. Try explaining that ????? You would think after 37 years I wouldn't have too
  22. Lew when I first met you was right after the tragic event and was amazed at how you handled that whole situation, I'm not so sure I could have done the same. It was a awhile later we actually shared a day on the water (caught my first Muskie that day) and talked about the accident that took your son's life and again was amazed how you were able to tell me about it and some of your son's background. He really must have been a special person and to this day I am sorry you had to go through such a loss.
  23. The first report was freaking hilarious Part II nice fishes
