you like black get the scorpion but the curado 70 is an awesome reel. best bang for the buck reel you can buy.

I upgrade all of mine to ZPI, Fusion +, or AIR HD because i can. On customer reels i usually flush and clean the stock bearings and they are fine unless they are looking for BFS use. I do notice a difference between different bearings and spools :0

Froggin and jigs= for your budget definitely get the Exsence DC or MGL. I flip with metaniums and frog / punch with exsence dc. Also consider the Curado if you want to spend less, i love the one i have and honestly the performance is close to metanium just not as smooth under load and a tad heavier.

With a Stella please send it back direct to Shimano, they are the only ones with the proper jig to do it properlly and they replace the seals and any parts if needed. Also, the platinum service the reel gets back to you in 2-3 days. I send all my spinning reels back to Chris even if i service my own baitcasters.

Great reel..most of my musky guys run 400 size D's and B's, several guide and run them hard for years. I have the 401 Conquest and it's a joy and built like tanks. I'd stick to NA models as you can send them to Shimano to get reworked and serviced for $25, they do last a lifetime if serviced every few years.
