    I'd look at a Lew's Tournament Pro or Shimano Curado I. As for ratio i like 6.3:1 for general applications.

    The warranty from Shimano is the best in canada along with daiwa. No fee is needed and have a quick turn around. G.Loomis on the othe hand I am disappointed in.

    not 100% waterproof..ok when standing, when you are riding water gets in through the small seams. the 100mph is way much better.

    I tried the frabil fxe, Shimano 3t dryfenders, and 100 mph. The 100mph were the only ones that were 100% dry in all conditions.

    i like using tubes..cheap and durable. if you find them the crappies will hit anything.

    Just moved in last month but here is the computer / fishing area in the basement. It's right next to my home theatre room and i love it.

    Checkout the daiwa lexa or Procyon spinning reels. Very good for bang for the buck.

    I now use the Megabass xx orochi jerkbait special as well. For spinning rod I use a Simax TS jerkbait. I use a Simax Exclusive 6'6" medium for the smaller jerks like OSP Asura and 110 Jr.

    ProJ has a wide variety of smallie jerkbaits at the show. Jackall, O.S.P,, Lucky Craft, Megabass, and Duo. Hard to find a better selection of brands and colours. They will be having a special deal today, go check them out.
