BUSTED !!!!!!!!!!LOL looks good on him. the cheaters are every where. we had a parent cheat in our kids fishing derby a couple of years ago. stuffing split shots down a sunfishes throat. best part is, the fishing derby is FREE and EVERY KID gets a prize...

thanks for the good replies guy's there is a lot of work that goes into running this event but the smiles are worth it. yes pikeguy i was taking notes. ( take kids out when you want fish )-LOL GBW-you and your daughter missed out on a great day!!!!!! im heading back up to the trailer now, when i come back i will remember my camera so i cone post more pictures and a picture of the prize tables so you will know what your daughter missed...

My wife and I run a kids fishing derby in our trailer park every year. we have on average 200 kids from the park come out for it . this is our 12th year doing it. every kid gets a prize, and their lunch. and it is free for all kids. this year the kids brought in 357 lbs of fish. the best part for us is seeing all the smiling faces. of course we couldnt do it without the people who donate prizes and Larosa's NoFrills at victoria pk& lawrence for the food. and of course our volunteers, one of them who happens to be a member of this board, Tracker. Tracker is our weigh in official, and has been from the start. this year he was also the entertainment too. when he weighs the fish he releases them back into the lake, but for some reason he decided to get into the lake to do it--LOL well atleast he didnt get his cell phone wet. thanks for your help. dann & kelly

yes costco is the cheapest by far, and there tanks are already purged so that saves you a few bucks as well. if the tank has expired then they will not exchange it for you. sorry for the late reply but i have been up at the trailer most of the time so i just got back today. and im heading back up again on wednesday.

as funny as it sounds terry, there is a law that you must be strapped into your bed at all times. if you are a team driving a truck, the driver that is off duty must wear the safety net while in the sleeper. its the same fine as not wearing your seat belt while driving.

with 2 people doing it, it is a piece of filet... it takes tracker and I about 30 seconds to launch and the same to load. even faster when we use my golf cart instead of the van... and no thats not a typo.. my golf cart pulls the boat out of the water no problem.... Dann

a 2x3 held down with clamps and remember that as soon as the motor goes on you need to carry your boater card with you. electric or gas, doesnt matter.
