How to get the PMs attention new rules for all Canadians
mr blizzard replied to mr blizzard's topic in General Discussion
Everyone should have to work for what they get in life for sure, I sure have no money tree. That applies to everyone. -
Also Simon we always spray the starter area with a wd40 or other moisture dispurser which will not leave a gummy residue, JUST make sure the surface is not hot when applying.

Hey Simon, We had the same or similar problem with ours when we moved here. The spring was to cold and stiff and not pushing the starter gear down all the way to the flywheel, we had to gently warm the starter with a hair dryer it worked, but were warned not to heat up to quick as it could crack things, all I know is it worked for us. -43 here today. Liked your video, check ours on the weather network, fun isn't it. Sometimes after u use the blower a bit of moisture will freeze in there after the machine cools off.

How to get the PMs attention new rules for all Canadians

THATS MY WHOLE POINT RIGHT ON -
I guess we can all have the right to disrupt road and rail traffic if we have issues with the government after watching the news today. Forget going to your local elected officials. If I have an issue with gov't I do not have the right to inconvenience others. And yes my grandfather and uncle died fighting for the rights of all Canadians. What are your thoughts.

Yes it is very sad turn of events. Condolensces to the family. Somehow there has to be a better education process for people who venture out on the ice who do not normally spend a lot of time out there. What is common sense to you or I may never come into their train of thought. I know we have grilled some rules into our son regarding ice since he was 4, at 17 he still plays by the same rules. It is cheap insurance and gets us all home safe. Our prayers are with them.

Just eat 3 cloves of garlic before u go fishing. When u catch a fish just breath on it then u wont have to worry what other options are available really, .......maybe more people should work on a farm and as for new people on the board welcome but understand it is not like the other board..................................this one is far superior in every which way, whether it be in dealing with technical help, support with family losses, fishing tips etc.

Advice needed on a hot water tank issue but my son.....
mr blizzard replied to mr blizzard's topic in General Discussion
Thanks Tom 0 and IFH for taking the time to respond also . We have had a small drip in our sons shower which could explain why the top element is not reaching its max temperature. We will also drain the tank and clean the lower element. As mentioned the tank is only 2 years old. Have an awesome weekend guys Cheers Blizz. -

Advice needed on a hot water tank issue but my son.....
mr blizzard replied to mr blizzard's topic in General Discussion
Thanks guys, I got ahold of a multimeter and will check it, found a website of john wood for testing, I guess its the joys of getting kinks out of a place you have recently bought..... .. but I would really rather being . Thanks again Blizz -
-47 windchill this morning , enough ice here to send some back to lake simcoe. Our hot water tank was installed November 2011. The tank is a gsw john wood 40 gallon. 3000 watt upper and lower elements. Top element is warm but the bottom is cold. I tried the upper reset button but it did not help. There is just my wife, myself and our son. Our showers are short but our sons is cold. Can I replace the lower element or might it be something else. I am between jobs right now so any tips are truly appreciated. We bought our first digital camera at Christmas and I promise to send pictures as soon as I can figure how to upload them onto the OFC. Thanks Blizz.

I kept saying to him fishing fishing fishing, but his first word was mmmmmum, Down the road if u ever have disagreements kepp to a minimum and resolve quickly, it goes to fast, our son is 17, I wish I could turn the clocks back to when he was 7, Cherish every day, all the best.

grt 1 GO WITH GAS; Tried one on Lake simcoe before we move up here. Sold it half way thru the season. Good for first ice, but did not perform in thicker ice and in colder temps. Bought a cheap gas auger and still using it up here. Still cuts thru 5 feet of ice.
