Thanks for the replies I thought that was only illegal on a Thursday afternoon. Jeeze...they really make the regs so complicated! I just gave the stringer a gentle shake and it eventually let go.

Still find it difficult to fathom how perogie pizza is good.....lol. As for the fishes....awesome....looked delish! Flyby visitors always a bonus and Ninja warriors on the portage make an interesting twist to the tale. Great stuff JB...good job!

Good luck Mike! I am not even fishing a tourney....i'm heading out for crappie and walleye with my buddy Cliff for an early session and i'm at at 3:30am! Gonna clean the bathroom and sweep/mop whole house and get laundry folded......BROWNIE POINTS...that will increase if i get home with a limit of fishes....if i can do that i should be in 1st Place for today

Hi all, Between night shifts today i decided to go for an hour session to see if the crappie were done their spawn or not. I was thinking i'd missed the spawn already as the fishing had been slow for them so far this year. I was wrong.....temps are now around 60-62F and the crappie are stacked up in the shallows where they normally are. Slip bobbers or micro jigs and minnows worked well( 1/8 ounce jig under the bobber). Took more time to clean them than to catch them!
