That is pretty cool. Just wondering though, are the paid for maps more detailed? I'm looking at a section of Lac Seul that i fish, none of the structure i know is there is marked, the map gives very basic and general depths for the area. Tried zooming right in….NADA! The area has some relatively large and defined reefs and drop offs.

Hi all, I have been making ice out update videos every other day and got up at the break of day and got some pics of a stunning sunrise, got some awesome new screensaver material this morning for sure!

Hi all, Just a quick update on the ice conditions up here in Dryden on Lake Wabigoon. Went down to the lake this evening (Thursday 1st May) to check the conditions. There was 2'4" of ice off my skidoo tracks. Some areas were one foot of water with one foot of clear ice. Its gonna be close this year….i'm not too sure it will all be gone in 2 weeks. Here is the video and pics i took out front this evening.

Hi all, Got out for 2 hours today. Went to meet a buddy at a stocked splake lake about half way up to Lac Seul going north from Dryden. Lots of ice but no fish. I have still to catch a fish from a stocked lake….been plenty of times….just jinxed. Had fun anyway.

She has a hand gun with her out sledding???!??!!??

LOL…i told him the other day that this year is 'our' Lac Seul year. He has many questions about 'lask' Seul. Yuppers…..i might get shot for saying it….but more fun than fishing!

Thanks man, I use a second hand Canon Powershot SD960 IS Digital Elph. I got sand in the last one this summer and because they are discontinued I picked up another on Ebay for $35. Really,really, really good little point and shoot cameras with HD Video. Optical zoom is crap at only 4x, but has some good preset shooting options. Shooting sunsets in 'underwater' mode…..WOW!
