keeping it current. Lets get some talk going on about it.

Randy From Sturgeon, Rod Caster, and myself (hopefully T.J. will approove) are planning a hardwater GTG on Lake Nipissing this winter. I am suggesting Callander Bay for ease of access, ammenities, and driving directions. There have been other options discussed including South Shore area, and Sturgeon Falls area. We would like to start the real planning soon, and are looking for suggestions and confirmations on who might attend. So far Saturday February 5th is the date. I would be willing to hold a block of rooms available at a local hotel and make arrangements for some prizes. Maybe an bar-b-que on the ice could be arranged? Lets get some discussion going on this, and have some of the members from down south start arranging drives to come up here.

Excellent Stoty, I'll be hitting the ice next weekend (18th) got one more Christmas work party to get out of the way first.

Here are some pictures from my cell phone. I was on the gov. dock at the waterfront. If we don't get a thaw the ice may be drivable for Jan 1st.

Wayne, I'll be over to Bear Island from the end of the access road on Monday the 13th. Looks like I'll have my first airboat ride, and 1st trip to Bear Island.

The judging system sucks. The decision on the 1st fight was a joke.

I'll gather some info and links to Nipissing fishing, Summer in the Park, North Bay Waterfront, Chief Commanda, Mattawa Voyageur Days, etc.This area is beautifuul all four seasons.

Here is my little 5 x 7 red shack I have used for the last 3 years. It is light and easy to pull around. Heated with propane and now has a 20 pound tank that hangs in a milk crate on the back. One of the side windows isd a slider for ventilation. It is perfect for 2 guys but with the dog and my 2 boys it is tight. I'm up-sizing this year and may have some new pics by Sunday afternoon (10 x 12 with bunks).
