  1. Huge Sheepie. Some nice eyes too. Not trying to hyjack the thread but can someone explain to me why 3 fisherman can have 6 lines in the water? I see it with the charters as well. Thanks.
  2. That cut may be dangerous now. His cheek could continue to rip below or above the scar tissue every fight from now on. There was a guy on my hockey team whose chin was a mess from from so many cuts on the same scar.
  3. Funny stuff RC.
  4. Cookslav, in general where is the northern property? Close to which town? For your purposes I would suggest the closer property. My cousin lives in Toronto (Younge and Lawrence) and 5 years ago he bought a point of an island on the French river. It is a 3-4 hour drive then he has to get in the boat with all the gear, drive 20-30 minutes by boat (15hp) and then lug everything up to his site. He has to pay for a slip all year to have his boat ready for him. He has worked on it for 5 years and it is not done yet. It will have all the ammenities but still it is not anywhere near complete. The bonus is I am only 1.5 hours from it and I have a bigger boat (90hp). If you can be there in 3-4 hours that means you could be fishing, drinking, relaxing in 4-5 hrs.
  5. Should have tried Percocet(oxys) for a spider. Would have went into treament and switched to Methadone....ended up on welfare, moved into subsidized housing, and had lots of more spiders. Or is that just my clients.
  6. gbfisher, He is only 13. Why you giving the kid such a hard time? Remember when you were 13? Or was the tooooooooo looooooong ago?
  7. Are you bringing your speedo? We had a great time with our boys at GWL this year.
  8. Borrow someone's GPS and get your speed. Try with the wind, against the wind, in a sheltered bay etc. Then you will at least have an idea next time you are out.
  9. That pike will taste better too. Congrats grandpa.
  10. Congrats. I have 2 boys to fish with.
  11. Thanks Dutchy. If you and Ron could get him out while he is there he would really appreciate it. His wife has some medical apointments down there and he will have alot of free time.
  12. Rangy, Why the preference foir a 1 piece rod? Seems like a break down 2-piece is so much more convenient.
  13. Yes he will have his vehicle but doesn't want to drive too far.
  14. I have a buddy who is going to London On. for about 2 weeks in early Nov. He will have alot of free time and is looking to fish. He knows of the Thames and Fanshawe Lake but does'nt know where to fish from the shore in those areas? He'll have his gear with him and would also want to go in a boat with someone if theye were willing to take him. He is a good fisherman and a great guy. He is willing to fish for anything but trout. He is 35 and his name is Rob. He is in several pics that I have posted but is not a a board member because he is not a "computer guy".
  15. I knew a girl like that.
  16. I thought Schenn played terrible. He is brutal. Everytime he touched the puck I closed my eyes and held my breath. Kaberle had some sweet moves on that late rush.
  17. Randy, I'm in 100%. I had a few responses via P.M.s. The consensus is that middle - end of Jan would be best with best fishing. Even without the Mallard we could have a blast. You and I will sit down for a coffee or a beer sometime soon and sort out some details.
  18. Hey Andre, Looks like you are right in front of the launch for the 1st pic. That new pavillion in Minihaha will be pretty cool when it is done. Good Job I love the fall walleye bite.
  19. Well done boys. I have recorded all of the back ground shots in my memory banks for future trips. I guess I'll have to gety out with "Randy the guide" Who gets 4 fish to take home?
  20. Andre, We'll have to hook up one day. I'm a little older then you (35) but not as old as Randy hahahaha.
  21. Nice birds. Looks like you spend some time in the gym too.
  22. Luc, PM me I have a buddy in Sundridge who can probably help you out.
  23. Moemoe I hope you have thick skin because you have taken alot of flack for that beauty muskie. I am o.k. with what you did and we should all believe you 100% when you say she swam off fine. 2 peices of advice I can give you 1) get a sign made that says "Released" and mount it under the replica and 2) make sure you hold the mount horizontally.
  24. SM bass are the easiest at this time of year. They'll hit just about anything....probably even a mashmallow.
  25. I was watching Cronzy one time during his campfire talk he scolded all the fisherman(women) that freeze fish in water. He said when it does thaw and you pour out the water you lose alot of the flavor. His suggestion was putting the fish in a zip lock bag without water then if you wanted he said you could put that ziplock inside another one with water in it but I don't see the sense in that. I rinse my filets off then put them wet into the ziplock squeeze the air out and freeze it. To thaw I just put some water (room temp or colder) in the sink and put the bags right in.
