ccmtcanada replied to Jet's topic in General Discussion
Any idea how often it needs to be reapplied? Looks very interesting! -
Hey...I heard a few people on this board may work for them.... Maybe it's just a rumour....LOL

Now that's a multi species report! Great stuff and awesome pictures!

I always scrub front to back too. Messed up too many shirts with black crud flying back at me. Lol.

Lol. One person on guitar and a voice a band does not make!! I've seen Road Gravy live and they would be perfect I think!

Do you have a boat or is this shore fishing? If its shore pike you are looking for then I'd start at the Toronto Islands. If you have a boat, then I'd suggest Lake Scugog for bass. No pike there but bass, walleye and muskies roam those waters.

What's "near" for you? How long a car ride? Are you east or west end in the city? Assuming panfish is what you are looking for?

home furnace and central air question, NF
ccmtcanada replied to chris.brock's topic in General Discussion
When you say it's weak, do you mean it's not cold air or the flow of air is weak? It could be your blower motor needs replaced. When I had central air installed, I also replaced the 20 year old furnace as well because they gave me a deal if I got both at the same time. I used "aire one" for the job...I didn't get the most expensive models....but 10 years later both are still going strong. The salesman I spoke to said even the lowest brand names will have much better efficiency (furnace) than anything 20 years old. -
Wow! Those are huge! Great going guys!

Holy cow! Torrential rain and wind. Hail hitting the house and the street looks like a river.

Fishnsled and ccmt's excellent bass opening adventure!

Whatever! Lol. I picked the lake that day so I think that disqualifies him for being a guide. Lol -

That sounds like fun! We should do that sometime! Right after you teach me how to use that center pin! (Which I haven't even out for steelhead in almost 2 years!) -
Big lightning show coming in from the north here in Whitby.

Here's a picture of my dad in 1961... Once us kids were born, we'd visit a friends cottage where he taught us how to fish... He was an outdoorsman at heart...here he is shortly before being diagnosed with cancer. During a chemo break, he had enough energy to fish...so me and my brothers hired a guide for some Lake Ontario Lakers. This turned out to be his last fishing outing, as he passed away 6 months later. Hard to believe he's been gone 18 years now. Thanks for starting this thread! Made me smile to dig out these pictures again! -

What kind of a guide makes his client navigate the boat using the trolling motor while he sits on his butt and eats lunch!?!?? I'm not implying anything....just sayin! Lol -
Absolutely love these kinds of reports! Congrats on her first fish....but know it should have been a 2 lb large. Lol. Excellent report and happy Father's Day!

Lunker, chrome, silver bullet, and of course WGSF (worlds greatest sports fish)!

Will and I had reserved yesterday to fish....thing is we had no idea whether or not to fish the bass opener or hitting Lake Ontario for some trolling. With the weather shaping up the way it was, both looked very promising! Seeing as we pretty much ignored bass last year, we decided to hit a Kawartha Lake and it turned out to be a great day! The day started out a little bit cool, but soon we were fishing in shorts and t-shirts. It's been such a cool and wet spring it felt great to simply enjoy summer weather fishing again! On Will's second cast of the day, he hooks into a great largie! He brings it close the boat and then it tail danced a little and got off! He "says" it was at least a five pounder...but hey, without a picture we'll never know...LOL. He did however, boat the first bass of the day... We fished any and all structure we could find...but I wasn't having a lot of luck for the first hour, so I switched up to my confidence bait...a simple senko and it was the right decision! I landed my PB largie...pulled it away from a stump in about 4 feet of water. The numbers weren't crazy, but we consistently pulled out bass...most in the 1 to 2 pound range. Bass fishing for me is usually a tedious exercise with only a few fish caught, so it was great to see some pretty steady action! At one point we had a double header on. Just as Will sets his hook and begins to bring it in, I get a nice hit as well! My fish is on the left...and as you can see is much bigger than his! LOL Ok...so maybe I told him to do an arm extension a little on mine...here's his fish by itself....lol In the early afternoon, the heat of the sun was increasing, but the bass bite was decreasing, so we decided to see what else was maybe biting. I put on a big suick and began working that in about 10 feet of water. Soon after I get a hit! Guess what species of fish it was?? Yep...bass...LOL I then put on my go-to spinner hoping to hook into a small muskie. So of course I caught this.... The bass kept on biting too! Finally, just as we were getting ready to leave, my trusty spinner lands me one of these... Couldn't have asked for a better day out on the water. Always a great time, rain or shine with you Will! Thanks for a great bass opener!! So, where are we fishing next?? LOL

Kemper...seems like they don't want business! I can't find any info either on them. Hopefully someone here has some inside knowledge. I even stumbled across ones that have had name changes, but Little's doesn't come up for any of those either. Good luck!
-
Found this on another messageboard Kemper...hope it helps! "It's a little hard describing how to get to Little's Marina. It's tucked away a bit. Go to Gilchrist Bay which is on the south side of Lower Stony Lake. Its quite a long bay that runs south. At the bottom of the bay on the left is the Wildfire golf course. At the bottom of the bay on the right side are a couple of channels leading into Little's marine."
