  1. Levels here are up about 30cm in the east end...if you have to travel far, I'm not sure I'd even bother.
  2. Very cool pics!
  3. Wow...what a great start to the season for you! Some real nice sized Walleye there. Congrats.
  4. During the dinner hour, the winds picked up....things were blowing all around and we had a really good downpour! A good downpour always brings up the worms from the yard. Since we are headed to Big Cliff's in the morning to help put in his dock, my little one is all excited to fish there. After dinner, we put on her raincoat and went to see if there were any worms on the driveway....and we were in luck! Here are a few pics from our worm picking expidition. Some are a little on the small side, but a little worm food and they will be perfect for trout!
  5. What a great report! Congrats to Michelle on her first of the season....a great looking fish for sure! Good to see you stopped to take in the scenery and took the time to take some pics to share. Thanks....great job out there!
  6. Hey Wayne! Hope you guys have a great summer....and I hope to actually get up to see you guys for a day. Well, if the women start talking, maybe we could fish for 3 or 4 days without them even noticing we are gone....
  7. I didn't want to hijack the "Best fishing pics" thread, so I thought I'd re-post the picture here of your new future fishing partner! Congrats bro-in-law! Who'd have thunk you could have a part in something that cute!!!
  8. You ever see those insurance ads on TV recently? The ones about how some people "Really dont like insurance salespeople?" One of the has a guide telling a bunch of scuba divers that the sharks swimming around were actually dolphins, and sends them all in the water. He then throws raw meat all around them and takes off..... The other one I believe is the people are on safari and there are lions and other BIG cats around. As soon as he finds out that they are in insurance, he tells them to disembark...go and pet them....they are really friendly.... Anyhow...off topic I know, but Gerritt's post reminded me of it....
  9. UA....bly and I are saddened to hear this news. From your description, he sounded like a great man....and a part of him will live through both your mom and yourself. I'm sorry I don't have a lot of advice on the funeral arrangements....I hope it all works out. Celebrate his life....don't dwell on the negatives in death...I think in the long run everyone will be better off.
  10. They hadn't done anything wrong. When I fish a creek, I may have worms and roe with me. If you had approached me and directed me to the sign, and I went over to read it, I would have still fished.....I always have an assortment of jigs and flys...as well as pliers to pinch the barbs. The fact that they were surprised and seemed concerned, and the fact that you didn't witness anything wrong leads me to say to give them the benefit of the doubt.
  11. Incredible footage! Once it got up close and personal, I was really hoping I didn't see that animal go down. Great find...thanks for posting the link.
  12. Nice editing job though!!
  13. Sabiki Slammers sure fit out there!! Nice job Glen...when all others leave, you know how to hunt those fish down. Great report...some nice fish too. We're itchin to get that boat out again soon....but not this weekend. Rain/wind/thunderstorms tomorrow, then off to Big Cliff's to get his dock in. Hopefully next weekend will be good to go though.
  14. Laugh at it if ya want...it was the biggest fish caught that weekend...haha.
  15. Good luck! Dont forget your tourney sign....LOL.
  16. So...it is a fish right?
  17. For compression testing, I believe the important thing is that all the readings are close to eachother. If there is a large discrepancy between the readings, then you could have problems. At least that's what the repair manual that I bought says.....
  18. Beauty fish!!!
  19. Retailers that have regional pricing (usually that means if you live in or close to a city, the prices are cheaper), need postal code in order to display the correct price for your area. I never have to enter my postal code twice though....cookies keep the info...unless you've turned that off in your browser, you shouldn't have to repeatedly enter it.
  20. Rick....thanks for the update.... I hope people take heed of your requests! It's free for us to enjoy, but we rarely think of those who take the time to make it all work. Kudos to all of you....thanks....
  21. So where's the fish pic from the cast 13 times later???
  22. LOL....you are too funny.
  23. First I've heard of it....I can find out tomorrow..... Mind you, because I work for the company, I cant tell you where unless it's public knowledge....LOL.
  24. For sunfish and perch, a simple worm on a hook with a bobber works wonders.
  25. I think a 9.9 should be fine for it... Not sure if 12 foot aluminums have those plates on it that tells the max HP motor....
