Congrats on a great opener! I've still yet to have a day on the water where more than 10 fish are boated....and I have a blast on those days...LOL. Next time I'm up in that general direction is in August. Our friends' annual cabin/camping trip is happening again in Magnetawan. We'll be taking the boat and fishing Ahmic Lake again. This time hopefully doing a little better than last year!

It's great to see you keeping it all in perspective! A few years ago, I remember work was stressful, money was tight, tension at home. Then a good friend of mine at the office told me his wife had just been diagnosed with cancer. Talk about a reality check.

Hey Glenn, I dont have the same unit you have, but mine is the Lowrance H2Oc with Navionics Gold. I find if I hit zoom too many times quickly, the system takes a long time to catch up. The result is a blank screen until it can fill in all the detail. It can take well over a minute at times. If I zoom in once let the map draw, then zoom again, let it draw etc, it works just fine. Not sure if it's the same issue

I didn't take this photograph. Kickingfrog was all set up taking pictures of the sunset up on Lake Nipissing at Lakair when he snapped a series of pictures of Bly and I heading in from a night of fishing. I thought I'd share one of them in here....

Was just up there last week on the West Arm. Seems that all my fish came on brass/gold spinners. Dressed hooks seemed to be the best.

Sorry to hear about the heal!! I don't know of any fishing games either.... As far as Tucker is concerned, I don't think anyone should be surprised. They said they were going to clean house, and clean house they are. Actually they've been saying they've need to clean house for years and years....this is the only time they are keeping their word.

You do have lots of money right? $25 bucks for a single musky lure can put a dent in anyone's pocketbook quickly!! I like large spinners....black/orange combinations.

I was jigging for walleye with a white/pink twister tail and a 10 pound pike slammed it. Amazing I brought it in considering the 6 pound mono without a leader.
