I don't care anymore with my Michelin Latitude X-ice tires now on the truck!! LOL... My old man would hang his head in shame... dedicated snows! LMAO Guess I'm getting old.. and the all seasons, while fine for another summer @ 6/32nds, weren't cutting it in the snow!
-
A bit of steel.. and some 6013 rods... LOL Most would have turned back... good to see the commitment to the outing!
-
No .. he gave it to Junior by the looks of things! Nice stuff Dan... I always loved St. Lucia and the wood fired stone oven pizza down at the marina.

Thanks Connie... talk about thread creep! lol We're positive ALL the time, but we also have to be realists to do so. It's all just a test after all.... "Healthy" today and we wait / worry for tomorrow.. and tomorrow after that! Now back to Cliff's head... you buy cleats yet?? -
He's sitting in a remote community.. with no woman.. no booze and nothing else to do between his 12 hour shifts! lol

Don't get me going guys... try having a daughter that for over a year was told she hurt herself playing volleyball and why she was walking with a cane. That year has probably cost her her life when it comes right down to it. Hopefully not, but based on the past 4+ years there's not a huge amount of hope that sooner or later one of these Mets isn't going to finally get her. And yes Cliff.. we already knew it was "hard" ! -
Temagami did a 1000 holes from the town dock almost out to my place for the CTV derby, one fish caught! LOL. We just stayed clear of the whole thing...
-
Like the day the guy started chipping the hole open RIGHT in front of Terry's Clam door!! lol

And for those that have a gun license coming due.... make sure you get it renewed as if you don't... and it's a possession only.. it's gone and you'll have to take the PAL course etc to get one back. I heard the "greeter" in Cabelas (that you surrender you gun to at the door) telling guys they were going to role anyone with just a Possession Only automatically to a PAL in the next round. They figure you can already possess, buy ammo and fire the dozen you already possess, why shouldn't you have the ability to buy more.

Those Lanark area girls have always been catch and release Drew !

As matter of fact... just as I returned to town today... I came across an accident at the lights on William St. Entire front end missing off a car, with a 70's or so aged couple sitting in it, and a WHITE Yukon that had just removed same. Not sure who ran the red light, but I guess white is hard to see! lol
-
White ones should be outlawed in Canada too !!
-
lol

Like I said to Jen... for 5 million a year I hope they have some skills, what else is on TV ?
-
Figured you were too mellow... thought I'd spark you up! lol
-
Now be honest with us Parnelly.. was it the lessor of evils... $110 for no lights... or $200 + points for the speeding?
-
Yah.. but "some" trucks still drive it! ;O)

I drove to Peterboro and back today, with my lights on, and noted WAY too many vehicles that were barely visible as they didn't have even day light running lights on. BUT.. they were out looking for money, as I left the TSC store on Landsdowne St East.. 5 cops.. 3 cars in the parking lot pointing 2 radar guns down Landsdowne to get folks going East in the 50! Today wasn't probably worth the ticket.. and I'd fight it with that picture as you can see at least a 1000 feet! Now other days, I think too many people in their GM's with automatic lights should learn how to turn them on manually!

Jesus Cliff.. I thought you were going to say you stroked out! All you did was fall down... silly old bugger you! You're not as young as you once thought you were... -
When I was a kid the teacher was allowed to hit you for throwing a book at him.. and you NEVER did it again. Now back to the government trying to get some seniors to anti up voluntarily! lol

Yep... flyin lakes, the logging company comes in, leaves and doesn't immediately remove the road (as they were supposed to) and all of a sudden it's "public access" to the crown land. In that example, the camp operator had a fair chunk of change and a Lease occupation permit in place for "his" lake. It didn't exclude someone else, like myself, from dropping in on the lake and fishing or someone from slugging through the bush to do the same, but I will not "drop in" on a lake that I know has a commercial lease occupation permit going on. Not fair to the paying customers or the outfitter. There are lots of other lakes in Ontario, with no need to feel the need to get on these ones. NOW.. on the "back" lakes that have had pubic roads to them for many years (those assumed by a municipality) and are now closed and blockaided to keep people out, so some can enjoy an overpriced retreat. I have issue with that.

Porky will just come back... Brian covered it, before she finds a mate. Reminds me, I have another in the tree beside the hangar.... They will strip EVERY tree in the yard from tip to toe.. and the dog won't like those pliers either.

Lady Evelyn is the "Temagami area". Just about every lake is full of small mouth now... and not what 95% of the locals target.

Navionics--what is the 'real' accuracy?
irishfield replied to SirCranksalot's topic in General Discussion
As Terry noted.. depends on the lake. Temagami is as much or more than 200 feet off location in places because they are relying on a late 1800's survey as to were the lake is. Some places you are driving your boat across the ground.. on the screen...
