  1. RUN the other way. Wife had a '99. Sucking antifreeze thru the leaking intake gaskets at 61,000 km...ball joint issues...rear spring issues... ...but everyone makes Lemons I guess
  2. CRASHED is the word !
  3. Great stuff. Sure beats sitting in front of a game box for sure !
  4. Thanks for that GREAT post Mike. Sure made me smile..although I'm not sure if I'm smiling happy for your son...or the fact he skunked you! LOL
  5. Great stuff Joe and thanks for the report. That lad Art sure does love them cigars when fishing..don't he...
  6. Don't know about that far North Darren...but the ice went off the NE Arm of Temagami on Wednesday and most is out of the North arms as of late last night.
  7. Great stuff steelcat !
  8. Nice stuff you two...especially you Carole! Great seeing a couple out enjoying the great outdoors.
  9. Great stuff Paul. Guess all the rumours of blown creeks worked.... to have a piece of paradise pretty much to yourself. Like they say if you don't go, you won't know....and you went!!!
  10. Thanks Dan for clearing that up.
  11. Dan....I know it's your home water and not questioning your input, but I've read the regs over and over again....and also always stop on the side of #11 and cast into Nipigon on our way to Hearst. The best I can get out of the regs is that you must be Barbless on "all tributaries up to the first barrier to migration, all waters on the islands and Forgan, Bonner, Little Bonner and Jackpot Lakes." Are you saying that the entire body of Lake Nipigon is also barbless?? Thanks! Wayne
  12. Have a great day Fella !
  13. This Rabbit Terry? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xhYk9PEmXA...ted&search= Hope you had a great day on the water Norm !
  14. Well there was this time.... They should pay you commission Doug. You are ART's poster boy and I don't mean Aplumma... That is a heck of an offer to put up that is much appreciated...but would hope nobody would expect you to pay for their medical attention. Seriously, Doug and I have had this conversation many times and definitely a route to take before any surgery. Nothing to lose and everything to gain with high success rates and no bad side to it like surgery.... if it doesn't work. Surgery will definitely be my last step and while Doug keeps kicking me I'll get into the ART specialist sooner or later. I've changed the way I build some stuff, to take some repetitive motion out of the equation and that has done wonders. Now if I could stay off this darn fishin forum I'd be even better...
  15. What's Thorpe and Maina gonna wear during Calgary's away games then?
  16. Ditto to what Roy said and I shouldn't have to join a private organization to see what is happening in our public fishery. Sounds like a case of the OMNR giving in.... to speed up the VHS spread process and to appease the "economy". They know it's in many lakes so why slow it's spread down at the expense of anyone's lively hood.
  17. Well unless I'm mistaken I still have to wait 'til the 3rd Saturday in May to fish Temagami for Pickeral....so I'll fish pike from the 14th to the 18th and then chase the Pickeral from the 19th to the 25th or so.
  18. Nope CH...no different than if I parked my car in your back yard without insurance. Your insurance isn't going to cover my car. And BTW...most house insurance policies cover boats to no more than a $1500 value without an additional addendum put on your policy...and read the fine print in your liability coverage to see how many HP you can have before you aren't covered. Many home policies are only 18HP if an outboard..some make it to 24HP. Just something to keep in the back of your mind if you ever have the unfortunate situation of hitting someone swimming or similar.
  19. Stop by a local jobber/garage/supplier and pick up a series 27 Interstate Deep Cycle. You won't regret it..it'll last thru the next decade.
  20. How old is the house. Find it very odd that there is a couple handfulls of old vermiculite and the rest is batts....and that your inspection guy actually found the handfulls. Did he lift the batts to see if it covered a whole attic of the stuff? And for what is' worth...our attic of the house I grew up in had the loose vermiculite insulation with boards over it and I played in the attic all the time...and I turned out just fine ..and what HH said. Make it conditional that the vendor cleans it up.
  21. Thanks Bud ! Needed a good laugh before embarking on a round trip to Ottawa and back this afternoon.
  22. Was it Ron, Brian? He sold his.
  23. Pretty close to the one in your avatar!! I'd say 34 - 35" Hard from that little picture.
  24. Don't know bud...guess you could browse the reg booklet. You have one...right... lol Only exceptions I found in Div 14/18/19/25/26 are a few lakes/rivers that state "artificial flies only" and "artificial lures only" No reference to # of hooks so that would go back to the standard 4 hooks/line...but generally a fly only has one hook in most cases.
  25. Krazy glue, for instant stitches before your pal bleeds to death...
