It can..but there's generally one shoreline you can limp home along if need be..or get someone to bust you a path..that'd be me or Tracker(Don). Here's a shot of last year on the Friday. Blowin so hard we could only troll down the reach with the wind...then pull everything in and run up the North Shoreline back to the Ferry and repeat x 6 !

Definitely should be unpluggin the lights Maureen if they're not LED's. Congrats on gettin the boat in and out of the water...and out for a drive on a Beautiful November day. Can't beat 13C and sun in Mid November. We all should have been fishin!

5 watt portable on a full size antenna works just fine. It's the rubber duck antennas on portables that make them darn near useless for anything but boats right beside you.... or listening to the weather report. I have many airplanes thru the hangar that have handhelds attached to the dash and hooked to a proper antenna and they're good for 40 miles. For BOQ I've got my sport trac mounted handheld and an 8' antenna that is held in place nicely by nothing but my bow cargo net. If that don't work...I think I have at least 50% of the OFC boat drivers cell numbers. All that said...you can probably buy a permant mount unit for the same money I spent on the handheld last year at BPS. I think it was $149 and my brain's stretchin here...but without walkin to the hangar.. I think it's a Uniden.

Not a chance Kevin..nobody is gonna back out this close. Sunshine..near the freezing mark..a bit of a breeze... all = FISH ON Smaller boats can fish West of the Ferry as well in sheltered areas. Just pay attention to the wind and pick the shore it favours if your boats a little shy on freeboard.

Would love to snag..but muskie rod holders are already off the tracks, muskie gear is out of the boat/walleye gear in and cover is on for the trip to BOQ Thursday am.

Bet the guy was ticked when he came back out of the garage with the gas can....

Yep...can't beat Lloyd for a charter on the BOQ for sure... Hell we just plan to follow him all day long, even if I have to call him first to find out whether it's 1, 2, 3 or 4 ! LOL Good luck finding someone...hate for Lloyd to lose a day on the water.

Why I stopped stream fishing 22 or so years ago ! And don't miss it one bit.

You could be stayin anywhere. All you are showing Shawn is a digital picture with a tape measure behind the fish. Is there some object for the day to be in the picture Shawn? or will we get that advise Friday night?

Figure most everyone will be together Sat night anyhow. During that time fishies on the digitals can be confirmed and the trophy awarded..so it can be strapped to the bow of the boat to show off on Sunday's trolling run !

Time is probably a big issue for many. Some will be going home Sunday and others will want to fish 'till dark on Sunday. Should you consider a Saturday only time frame Shawn?

Can all go as far as I'm concerned...I just want that big honkin trophy as a bow ornament ! LOL
