  1. As Roy..try to point out..I think's youz all is ranting in the wrong place. Brian was nice enough to give a heads up to a "gathering" of OFAH members at BPS...and other than "THANKS BRIAN"...it really should end there unless you want directions to the store, or are looking for another OFAH member to hook up with to go rub shoulders with the masses.
  2. I just watched them say 10 cm of snow for the shoreline of Severn Sound before Wednesday am. Lew bring a shovel for the launch would ya!
  3. Can ya build a few crappers TJ..I'm gonna need some !
  4. Dang TJ...I was just getting over missing the lake and you had to go and do that you bugger! Nice outing with the famdamly
  5. Looks like it's gonna be the day after two days of rain! LOL ..and I just looked at the weather and now it looks like that day, wed, instead of sunny is now WET FLURRIES! Just might be using the top Lew!
  6. Probably just the fill/drain screw gaskets. I'd change it, install screws with new O-rings or nylon washers and then check after the first few hours in the spring to see if you have a seal issue. If you want to be sure...take it to a repair center and have the lower unit pressure tested to see if the seals are good.
  7. I was waitin for Lew or Dan to chime in and say "let me check my calender" Don ! LOL I've got too much to accomplish this week...but I'm getting that "need" again already !
  8. ...what day would you pick for a cruise around Georgian Bay for Muskie and why?
  9. I was gonna say that Dan..but kept it too myself. Never center a landscape shot.
  10. Funny how these threads always go south...watch any fishing show..they all throw them back. Italo was going to throw a rainbow 20 feet on the show I saw today to get it back to the creek....as he "couldn't walk on the ice"..so don't fish the damn things if you can't reach the water! Bowman, Miller, Izumy (sp) all torpedo them back. And there is an arguement for that quick rush of water thru their gills to revive the fish. Different strokes for different folks. We all have our ways and as far as I'm concerned Darryl would make a great fisheries Minister. Then we sit here on OFC and view pictures of Trout/Salmon thrown in the mud and pictures taken before release. Pike and bass thrown on the floor of the boat to measure..oh and another shot while we're at it when we remember we need our dang OFC sign in the shot as well...blah..blah..blah..they all seem to swim away. Roy..clean up on alley 5 !
  11. Great stuff...VERY productive day on the bog!
  12. Ruth already took away his credit cards!!! LOL
  13. Nice surprise for sure Kerry !! The bog was 49.7 F on Wednesday. Georgian Bay is still 53F +/-1F
  14. I'm doin alright...just finished a nice T-bone from the Barby....NO I'm not...I want some!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I'm sure Ron fully understood the jist of my message Dax! , and no matter how tired you are of someone flogging you...as President of an organization you've got to step over the past Bull and carry on for the success of an organisation, especially in a public forum. Not join your fledglings....some with hidden agendas that have nothing to do with helping the fishery.......in beating the dead horse. I have nothing against Chris and I'm sure he's doing a great job...Ron just put the facts out much clearer and in a much better format. As you say there are good and bad reasons to be members when it comes to any organization and like you say I'm sure everyone is happy with Chris at the helm. Some because he's doing a great job and others because they simply don't want the job ...for 100% support from the members. I know how that works VERY well, as I was the President of the Rec Aircraft Association for 12 years, director for 14 and according to the members I was always doing a great job...and I'll admit I probably wasn't doing as much as could have been doing to protect our flying rights in Canada. I just got tired that nobody else was pulling their weight and/or wanted the job I had and stepped aside. If you think dealing with the OMNR is fun...try the federal level with Transport Canada.
  16. It'll take them a little while on the inboard/outboard...but I've seen it done.. IN THE WATER on Georgian Bay. (drive unit removed and boat sunk at dock!)
  17. Lots in the Temagami District...but you'd better have a helicopter to drop you into them in the winter.
  18. Randy...can't believe you're from Sturgeon Falls and call them Walleye ! LOL
  19. Thanks for a clear and concise response Ron with some useful details. Too bad your MCI president doesn't have the grace you do. Elections coming up soon... LOL !!
  20. Had me for a minute Joey...Paul with a girl from grade 6 that he was joined at the hip with. Not sure how that would have gone at BOQ! LOL
  21. It may be the only place you'll find a -25c. I was told Cabellas and BPS bought every unit Lowrance could produce this year.
