  1. That's all the gals at the Adult only resort are gonna show you bud.....
  2. If you don't like watching things bend.... don't get a wing seat! lol
  3. Why... did you sneak in and steal my key Jim....
  4. Well as a, THE top of the line, Lund owner... I'm gonna state that the lads at the Princecraft facility can rivet a boat together just as good as their cousins at the Lund factory and there's not a big difference in the hull designs. Interior finish yes.. but what matters.. NO. Grumman made some good aluminum boats as well. Had a 20 year old one in the shop last spring for a few loose rivets and a small crack. Not a big deal after pounding Lake O all it's life. C(t)rackers... don't get me going there.. lol. Just ask Walleyemen how that's going for him with a pretty much new boat...
  5. LOL... "the perfect couple"! Love Bert and Ernie...
  6. They are not under the same "wing". The travel operator just happens to have contracts with both carriers.. making it easier to swing service to Transat, especially at the end of the carribean tourist season in Canada when many Jets are sitting idle. Enerjet is a another Charter only airline that will fill the gap.
  7. They fly a fleet of newer 737-700's like Westjet does.
  8. ALL 850+ had their pay in their accounts, not just the flight crews !! You'll probably end up on Transat. Get on your agent ASAP !!
  9. Good to hear... ..found my Brother, first time in history, of a charter airline going down in Canada, that their pay and holiday pay hit their bank accounts the day before court (late last night)... and 9 days early to boot for the 2nd 1/2 of March pay cheques. Something is fishy... not the end of Skyservice. Hard to figure how a billed at total operating costs + a premium to the travel companys they do flights for can be in debt, unless it's purposely orchestrated. Watch for Thomas Cook to grab a portion and run with it for Canadian market foot hold.
  10. Only if you can catch my Lund!!!
  11. Hope you weren't riding Skyservice Rob ! Still trying to contact my Brother and find out where he is stuck with his crew and the keys to a 320 Bus !
  12. Little bit of AD Roy and she'd be a keeper....
  13. Congrats guys... wonder what I can get for a Pete Maina Sweater... signed by Dave and JP ! lol
  14. Theft, in many cases, is a hereditary disease.... but I can't believe you'd do that and not think the owner would notice the items gone before you had a chance to make a disappearance. ..someone stole two sleds and two outboard motors worth $50 grand from the Beausoli Island Storage shed last weekend as well..
  15. On Outdoors Card is government issued ID! lol
  16. Good point Polliwogg. I generally leave my wallet on shore and only have my operators card and fishing licence with me... up until this fall when I heard they were asking for your drivers licence so I started carrying it. Not sure they can make that stick though.. as there is no requirement to have same in your possession when operating a boat, or fishing. I've personally never had the OPP or CO ask me for a drivers licence or photo ID.. and we've been pulled over beyond a dozen times in the last 2 years...and the last time was in Decemember.
  17. No requirement to have insurance on a boat hun... but I wouldn't go without it! VHF radio operators licence if you have one installed. If they dont see you talking on it though.. not much they can do... until you're calling for help anyhow!
  18. LOL.. runways soft.. airplane is still on amphibs.. not an issue!
  19. Historically you see parts of the Trent/Severn closed in the spring due to high water problems and current. This year I suspect you'll see parts of the system closed due to low water levels, making it non-navigable.
  20. Don't let your guard down. The only reason Temagami had a one month Winter lake trout season for the last decade +(and now all of Zone 11), is that the Temagami Lakes Association cried that there wasn't any fish left when they came to their cottages for a couple weeks in the summer due to all the winter angling pressure. Their inability to find fish = must be no fish left and the MNR gave them the restrictions to appease.
  21. That happened to me once last week... but refresh, or off to another website and back cleared it back up.
  22. As I sit here sipping my $1.62 Corona... I feel for you Lakeporters.. I really do !
  23. If I was going to do "guided" in the Look out area.. I'd be sending BenBeattie a PM and going with the lodge he guides at, but that's just me!
  24. Civic... highest seller and unfortunately also the highest on the theft rating in Canada, and why premiums are higher than other cars. Risk of being a known theft item = higher premiums.
  25. Latest over flight pics I've seen of the area North of Sudbury and Temagami... snow is for all intensive purposes gone.. and the creek beds are darn near dry... 20+C over the weekend won't help. There'd better be a LOT of rain in the next month...
