  1. Learn to spell Daume.... Wish I could....
  2. Tell them you wanted to be "up to speed" on their security measures Phil !!
  3. Whom ever is buying it will have to pay off the loan and you next for the balance of the sale price.. ie a cheque to the finance company and another to you. Presume the loan is registered against the machine.... and they/you will have to get said lien waved before ownership can be changed. This will make it a difficult sale for you.. but at least you're being honest. Many would just sell it and walk away from the debt... new owner loses his machine to the bank when they come looking for the default.
  4. As long as she's keeping her young lad in line Brad all is well !
  5. Talking blind rivets?.. ie pulled with a hand puller? 1/8" diameter or 3/16".. and how thick do they need to go thru ?.. then I'll check my stock.
  6. Don't be showin "shania" them videos... or you know where that boat will be going! lol
  7. Our daughters have always been my fishing partners. When camping... the night before we'd decide who was going out first thing in the am and we would set our clothes outside the door so we didn't wake up the others. A daughter and I would get out for about 4 hours before coming in for breakfast.. then I'd go back out with both daughters. Son (oldest) would still be in bed when we came back for lunch. I think I've had him fishing about 5 times in his life... the gals... 100's and 100's of times. Sometime in the mid '90's.. Martin River PPark. Both girls in the boat.. Last summer.. not afraid of a bit of slim and blood.. lol Kristal freaking out her young cousins.. Man.. look how high that water is and that was July 31st !! ..and cleaning her boyfriends catch..
  8. Aw Christ.. another crap storm on OFC. To the stream Elitists that catch and release all day, how many of those do you think DIE ! .. and what Joe said. It's spot on.. you're worried about a few fish kept on the open lake, when many of you are fishing for them when they're spawning in the rivers. Or is it just the fact of jealousy that some folks actually get out and fish...
  9. If you are going to spend any time on Georgian Bay.. do yourself a favour and just buy the complete chart book for the area. Mine is the Lake Huron edition of Richardson's (including Georgian Bay and the North Channel).. from 20+ years ago.. not sure if they're still around or not, but I can guarantee the same rocks are still out there!!
  10. COFFEE... there's the problem right there ! You know damn well this place runs on alcohol....
  11. Worst thing that happens there Dan.. they shorten the docks and glue the mooring line to your hand so you can't let go before you fall in the water...
  12. Edazakery Terry! Darryl'd be welcome in my boat any time he wanted to get out ! I have a thing for crusty old buggers... why I hang out here...
  13. I learned to play on it when I was in public school.. so did my brother years earlier. Neat part was... while cleaning up Mom's belongings last fall...finding a picture of Mom holding it out on the fire escape of the Peterborough YMCA.. circa 1942/43 when she was shipped "in to town" to be a maid.
  14. Mine talks to me from the corner of our bedroom every morning when I get up ( my mother bought it from Sears when she was 16 !) Still a great sounding guitar (dubro).. some 68 years later..
  15. Same thing you're dealing with on all of Georgian Bay... under water TERRA FIRMA ! Guys that boat it numerous times a week... year after year... still find that hard stuff on occasion...
  16. I guess my Leatherman knife is illegal then! ..oh and my kitchen knife and fillet knife I don't even have to open! Hell.. even my Zippo knife you can hold the blade lock down and flip the blade out!
  17. I think that big one is overkill fishnwire. Keep in mind... any of them can only raise the water a certain amount. We were scooping lake water (32F) and letting it come up to room temp.. and then would get a nice shower. So if the lake is in the 60's you're golden.. if not.. you'll want to use a container that you can precirculate some water in with the heater running... to raise the temperature. ..and yes the bilge pump will pump to a normal shower head height... I mentioned hanging the heater as you wanted to use a 20lb tank that would be connected by a hose. The one I am showing is held up by the 1 lb cylinder!.. otherwise you have to hang it. ..and Lloyd deleted that shot, that I took for Joey, Terry...
  18. Be VERY careful where you boat.. and when there be careful again even if you think you're in a marked channel! Henry's has some great food.....and my best friend died on the back side (N/W corner) of the island.
  19. If you look in my picture... you'll see that I converted to a 12volt x 360 GPH bilge pump. This is all you need to pump from the lake fishnwire.. and is an option direct from the company that comes complete with the hose adapter. You can hang the heater from the metal hoop (like a colman lamp) and use an adapter to hook to a 20 gallon tank.
  20. I'm pretty sure I paid more than that direct from the company Vance... actually double last fall to be exact! But it works GREAT... mind you summer time, I'd just be jumping in the lake! PM Solopaddler fishnwire.. he had one he doesn't use anymore.
  21. We just sit around and watch Joe and Terry fish... all the laughs a person could ever handle in a week !
  22. Have fun Gerry ! I'm currently 4+weeks behind.. and it looks like it's gonna be 6!
