From the day my '98 GMC Sierra was new... as soon as you put a tank of Shell in it the check engine light would come on. Go fill up anywhere else and after about a 1/4 tank the light would go back out. Is how I knew when the kids used the truck without asking as the only station left in town is a Shell. Still does it to this day and the truck is now 13 years old. Being a 2000..... I suspect your O2 sensor is being set off by the ethynol in the regular fuel.

I'm still waiting for an answer on whether he's buying gas at Shell... and as well if it's a GM vehicle?

I know where the diagram came from Bill.. but I have no idea what they are wiring there or nor have I seen fog lights on a trailer. Here is the standard wiring diagram for a 7 prong trailer plug. Reverse lights on center pin is what is used to activate a dump solenoid on a trailer with surge brakes so you can back up.

lol... I can't drive there and back for $5 in gas, let alone my time. Then again.. I shawn the flashlight on my coupon and I have the $5000 grand prize, so I'd better make the trip tomorrow!
