  1. Generally heat controlled for speed. Sounds like you need a cleaning....
  2. Not sure how it turned out. Definitely ran out of lift at that point. I know the ground the excavator is parked on is not flat.. and you can see it's not far off nosing in. Cable is attached to something... but won't do anything if it rolls right.
  3. To think... an airplane kinda sank there a couple years back and it was a declared an emergency... water intake shut down ( that is 30 feet down and AV Gas floats).. absorb booms, you name it at extreme expense. Dunk a diesel filled hoe... not a sign of any thing to soak things up. Hope the municipality is holding a large retainer....
  4. You'll need a bill of sale for the boat.. or you'll have to go to a Notary and get a declaration signed and sealed. All applications go to NB... http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/marinesafety/debs-obs-paperwork-paperwork_boat_licence-1898.htm
  5. Terry was with you.. something got broken.. and you're surprised???
  6. Nice fish!!!! .. been there.. done that! http://
  7. And the "towing" attachment.. so I can pull two huts in tandem. Makes a great lifting handle as well !!!
  8. Yah... it's somewhere! It didn't go out the exhaust...
  9. Great stuff Rob!!!! !!!! Great to see a tradition in it's early stages. My son fish ... lol... it's the daughters that fish. None in winter though.... so far! 30, 28 and 25 in the next few weeks. ...eats... you took him to Hooters correct?
  10. Lloyd.... at tad tight for 6 though..
  11. I've got news for you Ernie... if you can find a 10 pin bowling ball... lol <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/_OnF6_V28DM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  12. Why don't all the OFC folks that make baits and such all go together and get a booth for your items together??
  13. Also from more scraps of steel... off that car lift shipping part... I have made a hitch and backing plate for the rear of the hut. It uses a cross tube so it can rotate for the movement of the towed item, with a hole drilled through it to attach a second hut behind it. Waiting for the paint to dry so I can bolt it in place.
  14. and paint. Install with a single bungee cord on each side (vs the 3 on an aircraft) and we have a great tow bar.
  15. Being a pack rat has it's positives. I remove these bungee struts from every airplane I refurbish and replace them with chrome moly steel and die spring struts that I manufacture. Was looking for something else last night when I came across my mass pile of these things and thought... man that looks like a tow bar! A bit of machining for the attachment end..... then what to make a hitch point out of. Found a hunk of steel that I didn't throw out, that was used for bolting together my car hoist for shipping, and it just had cut me written all over it with no need to do any welding. Drill, clean up ....
  16. Even she only knows that it was a lake North of the other lake...that I usually take her to! lol
  17. I might take you there... and you probably still won't know where you are!! lol
  18. I was digging through my shelves a couple hours ago looking for something else... but dawned on me that these bungee gear struts that I pull off every airplane I refurbish (I change them to chrome moly and die springs) just have "tow bar" written all over them for portables! Grabbed a set and milled the ends out to fit a cross shaft on the Clam. Tomorrow I make a tow plate to attach them to and to pin to the sled. A couple bungees on each strut and should work great.
