After i was done replacing my brakes and rotors on my car, decided to test them. Thats why i wasnt able to go to up to Credit and meet up some with some ofners, sorry guys. Decided to go to a local spot on Conesotogo river, havent fished Conestogo in ages but decided to try anyways. Needed to catch a carp and a sucker for team 6 so we can get some inches. I managed one of them. When i first got there, i was standing on the bridge and it was nice to see fish swimming around. There were buncha carp and suckers swimming around and a lone pike, wasnt very big about 20-23 inches, wouldnt bite my corn lol. Some more snapshots off the bridge Also there was a huge and really fat mirror carp that i tried to get to bite but wouldnt for the life of it. Its funny the fish would go up to suckers and attack them when they were just sitting there, never seen anything like that before. I`ll get him next time tho, i did manage couple of others tho. here is a first one: 27 inches long, 16 inches thick in grith, not a bad fish to start the day. I hooked him of the bridge and my friend had to help me land it while i went down to the river with the net for quick couple of pics and a quick measurement, and back in the water it went. Couple of casts later i had the second and the third fish on and managed to pull them out myself. They were smaller ones, as i had them on the shore I realized that the batteries in my camera had died, so had to use my cellphone to snap couple of pics. Missed two more good hits and as we were getting ready to go home, I drop my appartment keys right in the water, friend was laughing thinking i have to go for a swim lol. I had some other ideas. it wasnt very deep so i tied on a trebble hook and after about 10 tries manage to snag them, curious fairly big small mouth swam by to see what i was doing. As i am trying to snag my keys i wondered what if CO came by and saw me fishing with a treble hook, would i get in trouble? I am prety sure if he saw the keys on the bottom he`d understand but you never know. And yes my car is stopping ok again and there is no more shaking when trying to stop on higher speeds. I think football is much more physical then hockey but hey. I love soccer and yes i watched the game and I one thing i hate about soccer is all diving, I just think its too much.

average price for a ticket is about 180 dollars. I think i am going to have to pass on that.

Canadian tire has rod and reel comobos on sale prety much every other weekend. Keep your eyes open and get a canadian tire flyer and get yourself a better combo for 30-40 dollars.

If thats a mutant walleye you wouldnt be sticking your hands in there lol, at least i hope not. I wonder if those fish can break your wrist if you freak out and try to rip your hand out of its mouth. It looks great tho

Too many people have their own opinions on this thats why it may get locked. Some folk may get upset over that fish being kept even tho it was not hooked inside the mouth but to common brain its obvious that the fish went for the bait and maybe missed, never fished for whities so i dont really know. Off the topic tho: In the past few weeks i have seen people take pictures with fish that is out of season and under the picture it would state that the quick pick was taken and the fish was let go. Not much if anything was said. Today little girl was in the pic with her first bass and the next thing you know people started threatening each other . Either there is double standard on this board or we really have sank to a new low.

i wonder how long before this one gets locked lol, seems to be a trend nowdays even tho the ice is gone hah. I`ve hooked fish outside the mouth using spoons and i`ve seen the fish go for it so you cant really call it snagging. The law says you have to release all the fish that was not caught right in the mouth so i suggegest the best is to just let it go. Even tho i dont see the difference unless you are intentionally trying to snag it by its tail or a fin or something like that.

Its gonna be a fun drive to Ottawa on Friday, driving 110 on 401 lol

No i didnt cure then with anything, just let them thaw for a bit and used them like that. Went through a 1lb bag in 3-4 hours, two guys fishing. The only reason why we used them cuz sobeys was on our way and the tackle store was on the other side of the city lol

Went out for some local pike, ended up catching about a dozen of them with some bullheads. All pike were caught on frozen smelts lol People were slamming crappies at the same spot, green and white jigs seemed to do the trick. Decided to keep 2 for some fish fry, here are pics

I figured why buy a huge net for tiny little carp that i catch. If they were big carp like u and Bly catch then i would have bought 19.99 net. haha Plus your fish makes mine look like babies

Went out for couple of hours today, was more curious if the fish were in there yet then catching some. I never hook into anything decent in this place untill the water levels go way down. Water was good 5-6 feet higher then i remember it last fall. Here are couple of pics of the lake Fish were splashing in the weeds that have flooded, and the bite was slow. Only thing that was actually biting were bullheads, untill this fella came along. Caught me off guard and took me into some branches that were sitting on the shore, thank god i was using my 11 footer rod and was able to pull him out of there. In all excitement i forgot to take my team logo out of my bag and take a pic with it, could have kicked myself in the ass when i threw the fish back and realized i didnt take the pic that i needed. Ahhh next time Sorry Team 6

They cant compare gas prices in Europe to North American because europian cars are much more gas effiecent and plus they use 1/4 of the gas we do in a week. Nobody in Europe drives 50km one way to go to work and 50km back home, here in North AMerican is a normal occurence. The more i think about how gauged we get at the pumps, the more i get mad and something really has to be done since there is no end in sight. With all the oil in Alberta, it DOES NOT make any sense to sell it to different countries and then MAKE YOUR OWN PEOPLE pay through the nose for it at the pumps.

I would have sent him packing a long time ago lol its just that they have 4 dogs up there, poor thing wouldnt stand a chance ahhaha. Maybe i should anyways, he doesnt deserve much better, he is lazy he could use some running hahah.

Hey guys thank you for your replies. I purchased this thing called Nature`s Miracles just for cats at the pet store, after consulting with some older lady that works there. She said this is the best that is out there, it was 12 dollars so i bought it. If this does not work I will try NokOut Odor eliminator, where can i buy it in case i need to? thank you

One thing that i have noticed over the last couple of years that more and more people are fishing for carp and are open to discuss it, without thinking its a "garbage" fish. Its a great thing because carp are such great and strong fish to fight on the line and gives you a heck of a fight.

Hey guys, My gf left her cat in my appartment while she is up in Ottawa working and the damn cat peed on the carpet yesterday right beside where i was standing, cant beleive his nerve lol. Anyways, he isnt fixed, and it smells really bad, I left all the windows open when left for work early this morning. Is there anything out there on the market that can get rid of the stink and clean the carpet so it doesnt smell bad anymore. Thank you for your help!

Would it be ok if he had two batteries tied in series just for his 24V motor and then get a third 12V battery for all the electronics on the board that needs 12V to run, instead of connecting and disconecting wiring all the time?
