  1. If people dont know the difference between a pike and a musky they really shouldnt be trying to catch it.
  2. Thats what I`ve been doing for the past 2-3 years, just collecting coffee cups and worm boxes and putting them in my fishing backpac untill i find a garbage can. I dont know why its so hard for some people to clean up after themselves
  3. Check Elora Gorge, there should be some trout hiding in there. I go there often and most of the time catch something.
  4. I was fishing off victoria street one day during those bass derbies, there must have been 20 fishermen that passed me by within 2 hours all asking the same question whether anyone cought anything around there. I used to do quite a bit of fishing at grand because thats the only place i could go to but not so much anymore due to lack of fish.
  5. There is a good chance i am going to be there this weekend if it does not rain that much. It would be my first time fishing there so any pointers would be appriciated I`ve had luck catching big cats on chicken liver and shrimp in red river in winnipeg when i used to live there.
  6. Worm and a sinker, thats how you should be able to catch them in big numbers.
  7. What i do in fast creeks is tie some weight at the bottom of your line and then tie the hook couple of inches above your weight. That way if you snag on a rock or anything like that, you`ll only loose your weight. You constantly have to keep your finger on the line so you can feel the fish bites, the only problem is when your weight is bouncing at the bottom sometimes it feels like a fish nibbling on your bait. Good luck. What are u fishing for at grand at this time of the year?? I dont remember last time i cought a fish around Kitchener/waterloo area
  8. Going 2/2 would have been a great day... lol I`d take one of those days anytime really Nice fish by the way
  9. Just came back from Bronte, nothing happening there. Water was brown prety much and i dont think anybody cought anything. Couple of guys are fishing and some other people starting to show up. T his was my first time fishing for steelheads and it was a tough one.
  10. Only fish that i caught at the Belwood lake were cats and really small trouts and pikes. usually there are 30 people fishing bellow the dam on both sides of the river and its just a headache. I think they have a pike tournament on the lake every year and i hear they catch big ones.
  11. That fish you are holding, all the way to the right. Is that a catfish of some sort, i cant really see it that well.
  12. The whole thing with bylaws are stupid. Since its your property and the boat is yours, you should be able to park it wherever you want on your property. My Gf`s parents had to get rid of 2 dogs because the bylaw people told them that you are only allowed to have 3 dogs per house. Its people that have nothing better to do then go around and pi** other people off
  13. I`ve been to Belwood Lake couple of times, right underneath the Dam. Nothing but small pike and catfish was cought that day. Did the lake actaully freeze or you guys will be fishing from the shore?? I live around Kitchener myself and always looking for new spots.
