  1. Can't stand any type of pop...Interesting that you posted this Brian...we had some issues at work with "people" using their Mentos that they bought on Canteen and putting them inside their Coke that they bought and creating a massive explosion, when you put 24 mentos inside the bottle. They are not allowed to purchase Mentos anymore
  2. Wayne's one of the most generous people I have ever met, too bad he's irish :) JUST KIDDING!!! LOL

  3. Anywhere you can find a heavy current, you WILL have success. Crooked Rapids is a trek for sure, but there are many many areas on the way to the crooked, that have heavy current, wherever you find bottlenecks, drop a nice 1 ounce jig down and you will find success, regardless of depth.
  4. Nice report, Raf! Those are beauty fish.
  5. Nice shooting, tex! Lookin' good...I'm not gonna bother testin'....I've got the same shells and same choke as last year.... I figure if Irish and Brian r callin' me three shot marty, I shouldn't have any problem with gettin' my bird, regardless of pattern
  6. Nice job Leech....that's certainly gonna be a nice blind when completed. All you'll need is lazyboy in there and your set!!! Good work, keep us posted!!
  7. Awesome pictures, that is monster pike!! I'm still seriously considering going up there this year...
  8. Thanks for your insight Gerritt. Certainly dind't over indulge. We had two cases of bottled water brought into our room, explained everything to my two girls about the water and not brushing your teeth with it, etc, etc, etc. We took all precautions we could, as this was the first time we brought my 11 and 12 year olds. Sometimes you have to consider that it isn't the over indulging and or the water, that it is actually in the cooking, the preperation of the food or just plainly the food itself. Dominican certainly isn't a clean place by any means, but it is beautiful. Have an enjoyable experience KickingFrog, you'll love it. Just be cautious with the food is all I'm saying to ya'
  9. Enjoy your vacation and bring lots of Immodium and I mean it! HDH in midland has been reporting an extra amount of people coming back, specifically from punta cana with severed stomach problems, some as much as pooping blood. My wife and two girls and I were severely sick down there, and it extended 2 weeks, after we returned home. It is a beautiful place, but I certainly won't be returning to the Dominican. I've been to cuba 3 times and mexico once and never, ever had experienced anything like that. Upgrade if you can, you can drink Heineken out of bottles all week instead of Presidente crap
  10. Good job Leachman, thanks for posting that....be sure to take some pics of the finished product for us to see!!!
  11. That's interesting. I was told by the dealer that the Block is the same on the 75 and 90, but not the 115hp. What I find interesting, is even though the blocks may be the same, the size of the motors aren't. I bought my boat new in 2006, but it was a new 2005 model. There was one identical with a 75hp on it, sitting right beside mine and it certainly looked smaller. I couldn't imagine what the 115 would look like! Here's a question...Just because the block is the same, does that mean that the weight of the entire motor is the same? (sans sarcasm, serious question )
  12. That would be crazy. The max rating on the 1650 Sportangler is 90, which is what I went for. Even then, the back end is a little too heavy.
  13. I thought it was pretty funny. I will be interesting to see over the next while what's gonna be around....those two yotes aren't gonna help things
  14. Thanks for the laugh Wayne!!!!!
  15. Those were hilarious!! And then the last one....was an amazing review and recommends people to go there....bwahahahaha....who could have wrote that?? Hmmmm......lol
  16. Hey Rick and or TJ... I'm having some issues with the display....sometimes when i'm reading a post, there's words missing on it...if I take my mouse over it and highlight it, I can see them...and the 4 green bars on the bottom of everyones' posts..... a quarter of it is on the left side and three quarters of it are on the right side....weird.... Any ideas?
  17. I have a 1650 SportFish, 2006...love it. Although it has a 90 hp 4 stroke on it. I love Crestliners
  18. I was down there a few years ago....it was awesome. Use 5/8th's jigs, use can purchase down there at any local shop...and fin-ess minnows....you won't be dissapointed!
  19. I think the emergency button is the seller on this unit.... I was thinking of getting one, solely for that purpose, as the guys in our group are a little older and we are far away from anyone and there is absolutely no cell phone coverage for hours. Isn't there a monthly fee with this as well? How much is it?
  20. Send me a PM about where Shank is....I haven't heard from him in a while....thanks for the info andyman....we'll have to get out once this year....no more than once though...only small doses of your talking I can take (Yoda)
  21. Thanks Fang, much appreciated. I'll check out the OOD mag....
  22. To all the guys that fish these waters.... I'm looking at going out in early to mid April... I'm looking for information on Launches at both locations.....what can be caught in April, etc. Certainly not looking for any locations or what to use, I just want to explore these waters and catch some fish. If you don't want to post, feel free to PM.... Thanks!
  23. Thanks Fisherman, I always wondered about auctions like that, if people really do get good deals. I always see boats and sleds parked at the 400 flea market and I think they have auctions there....btw....do NOT use the bank machines at the 400 market Alot of Skimmers found there...
