I wonder if they actually kill the fish? If it does, we should have hundreds of floating dead bass in the kawarthas with the amount of bass fishing with plastics that goes on in this chain of lakes.

I have also found them in lakers. However, maybe the bass are stealing the baits off the hooks. I agree these things should not be thrown in the lake to avoid these circumstances.

I took a walk down to the lock in Lindsay at lunch today and saw a few walleye setting up for the annual spawn. Here's hoping for a successful one.

I would never make an offer without seeing the boat. You can't really tell from a picture. They usually say firm price or Best Offer in their ad, so you know if they are willing to take a lower offer. Make the offer in person.

My basic answer would be I don't need the item anymore.

I always try to answer as many questions as I can if I'm selling something. However, there can be a limit to that. I was selling an old ford ranger once and was completely open about all the things that were needing repair. A young man asked me a ton of question and I was patient as I could be, then he asked me if I thought it would be a good starter truck for him. I told him NO and said good bye.

I noticed they just open the dam in Lindsay the other day. I was worried with the walleye spawn coming up.

That is very rare in my line of work. I'm envious.

Haven't heard about any reports of a missing dog and I have been down there every day to see if I could see it on the bottom. No sign of it.

I guess I'm saying we shouldn't have to be checking our receipts when we leave the store. I know my wife does, and yes every penny counts for us Cliff. Some just don't get that and won't until they are close to a fixed income. It would be nice if the stores could have things priced correctly.

So, we live in a society where we must take or be taken! I'm not criticizing anyone here, just making an observation. I also see many discrepancies in various stores when paying, I guess I should start the battle instead of asking them to correct it. LOL
