glad to see somebody still gouging in tough times
walleyejigger replied to walleyejigger's topic in General Discussion
i've spent more of my money supporting the sens and leafs, simply cause they were closer to me distance wise, loyalty costs me nothing, entertainment does, at least schneider is producing a little(for now lol), for a team "trying" to do something now rather than later ya gotta let some draft picks go, that's the way hockey works, i do agree with you, not my choice but sometimes small changes can make a difference, hopefully they can unload kovalev for some consistent talent holdfast, i've probably missed something in most of your posts (picking a team in your infinite hockey wisdom) instead of a block of them "the west",(last i checked mtl. had more pts. than 2/3 of the west), or the "anybody but the habs" theory, anybody can do what you do and predict one non winner in a group of thirty, odds of probability, btw real clever on how n every one of your hockey posts you all of a sudden cant spell when it comes to mtl. players names, a la don cherry, you have issues there by the few comments posted on the actuall subject i guess most would be fine if grocery stores sky rocketed their prices just because they know ppl. are going to buy anyways, guess the point was missed, my bad -
looks like a great time, cool pics

done, i've voted for them more then all my provincial and federal voting career combined,

blaque, i had the same problem as you, i bet i clicked in and around and all over that damn reflection over 200 times, but it eventually peeled back some wallpaper a little above and to the left of the swan, keep tryin....

habs could be in last place, and i'd still cheer them on that's the difference between a fan and a wagon jumper ur right kickingfrog, i'm a fan that likes to go to games regardless of who's playing, but like u said leafsland is not for the fans of the game, the last few games i've been to have been in ottawa, would love to go to mtl. more but it's a little too far anyways point of the post was i thought it was a little ironic that they make so much money but feel they need to raise prices because they haven't in awhie, gimme a break -

http://www.torontosun.com/sports/hockey/20...23/8498381.html "The Leafs, who will miss the playoffs for a fourth consecutive season" callin her quits a little early there buddy " The Leafs are consistently ranked as the National Hockey League’s most profitable franchise, worth more than $400 million US by Forbes Magazine, a claim often disputed by MLSEL" that's it?, we need mooooooore money GO HABS GO -
amazing pictures, you have true talent

must be nice to be on a lake all alone, no other ppl tracks insight i have a jack russell terrier and learnt early on that you cannot chase the dog, it's just a game and they'll keep running, i think they would run to utter exhaustion, i also learnt my dog is the most loyal i've ever had and if i just let her go, she won't go "that" far, if she can't see or hear me she we'll turn around within a minute, a good game to do with her is like hide and seek, we spend alot of time in the bush camping, fishing, hunting, and somewtimes when she gets out of sight i'll run in the opposite direction and jump in the bush somewhere to hide, a dogs nose is an amazing thing, she's also a great hunting dog but a terrible retriever, if she ever gets a hold of game i've taken she grabs it and shakes until it's destroyed and then runs off and hides it in the bush, also a very patient dog, my neighbor compares her to a cat, sometimes she'll sit under my cedar bushes for hours just waiting, then all of sudden leap up and have a bird in her mouth, she's caught countless birds and squirrels, without a doubt her favorite passtime is fishing, in the boat she stands on the edge and just watches the rod tip non stop, in the winter she just stares down the hole and somtimes falls asleep doing it, a trick my grandfather taught me, as a last resort IMO (thankfully i've never had to try it) if you ever REALLY lose ur dog in the bush and for some reason u have to leave it (overnight or something) leave ur shirt/jacket/hat..... on the ground where ur dog left you, IF ur dog eventually comes back it will stay close to those items because of ur smell,

i'm so over the ctc sales it's not even funny, my local store's big sale this week is a plastic plano storage box reg. $7.00 for 50% off, and the cordless rapala knife 50% off, good deal on THOSE items, but hardly a fishing sale or clearance, last week they had sorel winter boots for 50% off, not one store in sudbury, esponala or timmins had a single pair, (6 stores.......ZERO boots) what the heck, (I called all those stores on the thursday before the sale started, and visited 2 of them later in the week, the 2 i visited didn't even have a spot to sell the boots)

good point, never thought of it that way, (being a child care provider in itself, even though that's not what its meant to be)

what Terry said, if it's deep heavy snow you're going to needlessly "chew" thru it with chaiins and probably get hung up (if the snow's deep enough, if ur looking for traction like for pulling a hut down a lake where there's a road or packed trail or glare ice, all 4 is the way to go tip for those with or without chains, last resort if stuck in slush, put it to the bar and work the steering back and forth, you'll quickly turn the slush to mostly water and then be able to drive out easier, it's slow, but when worse comes to worse it works, i've done it a few times
