I went out on the weekend on the ice for the first time. I wish I could post a report but I got skunked. Anyway, I was just wondering if either of these things have ever happened to you: My skimmer broke as I was using it. Just shattered. I'll be purchasing a metal one for the next trip. My reel froze up. I thought it was broken, but when I got her warmed up she was working fine. Just wondering what I can do to stop this from happening again.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this reel. I know it is an older version. Just wondering what the differences are between this reel and the new curado and the new calais (not the DC)

Why would you grind a piece of steel? I much prefer a nubile young lady. In all seriousness good to hear you're in the road to recovery.

I second that, report it to the police and contact your insurance agent. I think some policies will repair it free of charge.

It is clearly evident that Musky Hunting is only one of your powers. A great multi-species report. I hope to learn even more from you in the future...specifically about catching whities and lakers. Thanks for getting me addicted to chasing the Esox. What a great report!

Great to see two of the best and most knowledgeable fisherman on one show. Was funny to see Dave bugger so much at the beginning, but it was all in good fun. Love to musky show, just wish I had the opportunity to fish St. Clair. I also thought that there was a lot of good tips shared on the show. I always thought that musky being solitary creatures was a bit of a myth, especially in the summer.

Wear a float suit

It does cover the Trent Severn, also lots of Kawartha Lakes. Right now I'm wishing I'd only gotten the great lakes app.

On my iphone I have the great lakes and the canada app. The great lakes app only covers the great lakes. The canada app has a lot of the lakes in southern ontario. I just checked and all the lakes you mentioned are covered. A lot of the smaller lakes are not included though.

I totally forgot abut the obvious fact that fluoro sinks and mono floats. I'll have to try using floss as a leader sometime, just for kicks.

Just took a quick look at the Canada lakes app. It seems to cover most to the Trent to the bay of Quinte
