Funny how that one worked out. I live a few Km away from the city hall.. I didn't hear any music prior or during earth hour. But shortly after earth hout, I could here the music inside my house, overpowering the TV..

Seems backwards, but the City of Barrie is throwing a concert tonight for Earth Day.. They're gunna be in front of city hall for the entire evening. Pumping musing though big speakers, sucking back lots of hydro.. Who knows, maybe they'll have an acoustic portion during Earth Hour.. I doubt it though. As for what I'm doing. Not much. Watching TV.. I never leave the lights on in my house any ways, or my wife yells at me. I guess she thinks I look better in the dark..

Let me know what he says about the tent sites. I'd like to come up for a day. Can't stay the entire weekend though..

Another vote for the canoe with a trolling motor. That's what I started with. But one thing I might add. I knew I was going to get a larger boat in a future, so I got a little bigger trolling motor. That way when I bought my 14' tinner, I could pull the trolling motor off the canoe, and use it on the tinner.

Wups.. Missed that. Next year!

I took my family out last weekend too. It's always fun seeing the kids catch fish. Great post man! Last weekend I helped my 3 year old nephew land his first ever fish. Great memories eh!

I sell stuff on Kijiji a few times a year. Sold a guitar amp a few weeks ago. Within 2 weeks I got 2 real replies, and about 6 fake ones that where scams.. You may already know this Lew, but watch out for the scammers out there.. Here's a copy and paste of a few.. They seemed a little fishy to me, so I ignored them.. "Hello Seller, Do you still have the item for sale? What is the last asking price? Send me recent pictures via email for a better look and what is the present condition as well?Mode of payment is Check. Mark." or this one.. "Hi, I'm interested in buying your guitar amp which i will like to know its present condition and the final price that you wish to sell I will be responsible for the pick-up,and my shipping company to do the pick-up from your home to my house,and will be expecting ur respond as i look forward to have a good business relationship with you. my best regards fedrick."
